urinary tract obstruction leading to kidney problems.

So my chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome initiated from allergic prostatitis and for the past few months I have had ED as well as frequent urination and difficulty urinating. At one point I was having severe back pain (I suspect kidneys) that went away

I get regular chem panels and have noticed that my creatine is elevated for my age range and my potassium is a little high but not out of range. It's normally been low. I also am now intolerant of potassium rich foods and feel symptoms from eating too much.

Everything including the prostate pain has gotten much better since starting quercetin and avoiding food allergies. But nonetheless, the blockage of flow is still there.

I strongly suspect that my prostate inflammation /CPPS is causing reduced flow and stress on my kidneys that could lead to permanent damage if not taken care of. I'm not sure what the best route is. I guess an alpha blocker would be a start?

Does anyone else have chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome that leads to urinary tract obstruction?

Never heard of CP/CPPS causing kidney problems before, so no need to worry about that. As far as an alpha-blocker goes, you should be able to get that prescribed without too much difficulty, and it may help with the flow issue.
