Hi all,
I've seen this referenced, but it's amazing the temporary relief you can get from an extremely hot spring or tub.
My hot tub that is usually limited at 104F (industry standard) broke the other day. It now runs up to 108F.
10 minutes of that and I can feel most of the tension completely relieve itself.
Now, before you go jump into some boiling water.....
Make sure you haven't had too much alcohol, don't have any health conditions (other than CPPS) and time yourself.
At 108F, I'd say 10 minutes is about all you should do. You can probably hang longer, but heat stroke is a possibility.
I hope this helps some others as much as it did me tonight.
Cheers,
Borat

So,
I researched the sitz bath a bit, but what is the bag for? How do you use it?
I'm going to have to fix my tub, as the control panel went nuts.
104 F is good, but 108 is much better.

Agreed. Hot tubs really reduce the tension, and help with sleeping.
Age:42 | Onset Age: 42 | Symptoms: Cold feeling in penis, sore perineum, post urinary discomfort, coccyx pain / tension | Helped By: warm baths, meditation, sleep, Xanax, walking. | Worsened By: aggressive exercise, ejaculation, overthinking! | Other comments:

Re: Very Hot Tubs....
I notice that for me as well. I don't have a true hot tub, only a bath. And unless I crank it up and keep filling it with real hot water, it doesn't really do too much. Both 104F hot tub or hot sauna will help me. But also dries out my skin and hair, ha.
Age: 25 | Onset Age: 21 | Symptoms: Pain in perineum area, bad ED, slower stream, loss of libido, | Helped By: Uroxatral, Heavy Doses of NSAIDs, Really Hot Baths/Sauna | Worsened By: Sex, Masturbation, Spicy Foods, biking, certain exercises, sudafed| Other comments: Mine started in a time after copious amounts of sex, I also held in ejaculation for a long long time after a sex break which may have contributed. Also went from protected to unprotected sex around this same time, but all tests show no bacteria. I do not have urgency issues.
