Intrapelvic TrP Injections
Does anyone know of physicians who perform intrapelvic TrP injections (e.g., levator ani, sphincter, etc.)? I'm not referring to Botox injections, but rather simple procaine/marcaine TrP injections using the Travell and Simons method (piercing the TrP, withdrawing the needle halfway or so, moving in a different direction and piercing another muscle area, etc.).
