Pyridium
Hey guys. My doc on the ship suggested something called Pyridium to help with the pain and urine flow. I dont know anything about it. Has anyone tried it and does it help? I am hoping to get some relief because I am in a lot of pain. Also I wanted to ask about the Cytopsy. Not sure if i spelled that right but its the one with the scope. My doc told me he wants to send me to the uro to get this done. Now I have read about people getting it done but they always seem to say that everything was normal when they had it done. Has anyone ever had this done and had them actually find something and maybe even know how to cure them after this is done? I know its normal procedure after failed antibiotics but I am just curious so I thought I would ask. As always thanks for the response.
Age:26 | Onset Age:24 Nov. 2008 | Symptoms:Sharp pain deep in the urethra right above the testicles at the base of penis, dribbling at the end of very painfull urination with a weak stream, on and off frequent urination. Pain in the perineum. Premature ejaculation and weak dribbling ejaculate. Helped BY: Stretching, external PT, relaxation(although this is very hard to do.) The verdict is still out on the internal for me. Attended the Wise clinic and was told my main problem was my abs. I have two trigger points internal but I can't seem to find any relief from the wand, but practice makes perfect. For everyone that has had a bacterial infection ruled out by a doctor then CPPS just might be your problem. Look into the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol. Its very insightful and worth the money. Remember, dont give up!

Re: Pyridium
Stay away unless you get SIGNIFICANT benifits. Pyridium is the brand name for Phenazopyridine, an azo dye, which are probably human carcinogens. Seriously risky.

Thanks, it never really did a whole lot for me anyway. The Navy doc just gave me a whole bunch cause he had no idea what was wrong with me, and at the time I had no clue.
