Quercetin + Something to Help w/ Absorption?

Post by critthinker »

Hi All,

I tried both any accredited quercetin product and any accredited quercetin product and they both resulted in significant irritation somewhere near the prostate area for me. Then I tried a Quercetin + Bromelain formula from another company and I experienced the same thing. Does anyone know if there is a Quercetin formula that does NOT contain Bromelain but has another ingredient that helps with absorption (e.g., papain)?

Try quercetin on its own.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Did that for a few weeks, and did not notice any significant effect. I'm thinking about trying to Twinlab Q + C version, but do you know of any products that have something OTHER than Bromelain to help w/ absorption?

You could be one of the ~30% who gain no benefit.

Webslave is correct. Sorry. These synergistic antioxidants help to preserve the quercetin in the blood stream so that it has a chance to reach mast cells before being reduced. But in quercetin has 0 effect in large does, adding other radical scavengers will not help.
