Hello everyone, for around 5 years now I've had various problems which seem to be similar to CPPS, but I wanted to ask all of you chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome experts your opinions. My symptoms started at around age 15, when I experienced a painful ejaculation while masturbating. After this event I also noticed a linear red rash along my penile urethra which has persisted to this day. For around 2 years the post-ejaculatory/ejaculatory was the only symptom present, until one day I had the urge to urinate constantly even after urinating. Also after I urinate there is an amount which still drips out. Those symptoms have died down a little, but I still have to pee probably twice as much as the normal individual. Consuming alcohol/caffeine significantly make my frequency problem worse. I also notice post-ejaculatory pain is increased by alcohol intake. Another symptom also emerged last year, having terrible stomach problems. Defecating also seems to cause pain to my urethra which lasts for hours.
From what I've read on these forums, I seem to have CPPS. However, I notice I am missing some pain elements many of you have, such as testicular pain, and pain while sitting. Because I do not have these symptoms, does this mean I do not have CPPS? Most of my pain is within the base and tip of my penile urethra and persists throughout the day, although pressing on the urethra in the perineum does cause pain. I could imagine I do have chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome though, because I notice I often flex my pelvic muscles during masturbation, possible being the cause of my CPPS.
Through the years I have seen 1 GP and 2 urologists and been prescribed countless antibiotics and have had a cystoscopy which revealed nothing. I just want to know what is wrong with me. Living through 5 years of pain and not knowing what is causing this pain has been quite distressful.

Re: Do I have CPPS?
Post-ejaculatory pain is a hallmark of CPPS, so you probably do have it.
Testicular pain is not universal, nor is pain while sitting.
