TMJ pain and pelvic floor issues
I recently found this paper that says that many people with bladder dysfunction also experience TMJ pain. http://www.springerlink.com/content/n6780l73v7461796/. I know I am one of these people and both issues started at exactly the same time. I wanted to see if anybody else had a similar experience. Also I would like the moderators to consider starting a separate board under related conditions for TMJ pain, since it is a complicated problem on its own, and I think it would be helpful for people to know that suffering from both problems is common. I know I had a hard time finding information about the relatedness of these conditions, but many of the PT's I have been to say they see both conditions concurrently a lot.

Re: TMJ pain and pelvic floor issues
Interesting! Are you aware that TMJ pain is considered one of the classic TrP syndromes? According to Doctors Travell and Simons, trigger points in muscles of the jaw and anterior neck are responsible for much of the pain associated with temporomandibular joint syndrome.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

Interesting. My left side of my face, tongue and mouth burn and tingle along with my scalp. Not sure if this is TMJ related, but it is the same feeling I have in my buttocks.
