Itching after physical therapy

I've had three internal sessions this week, one from Marilyn Freedman and two from my local PT (who does Thiele massages, which I know are not part of the W-A protocol, but she's the only in-network PT and thus the only one I can afford to go to regularly).

My symptoms immediately lessened after the session with Marilyn and have remained lower than they were, thank god. However, since that night, I've had a relatively persistent itching in the perineum radiating through the penis, worse when I urinate. It was gone yesterday, but it's back this morning. I know this is not an uncommon symptom of this stuff, but it's not a characteristic symptom for me (yeah, I've had it, just very rarely). Is it common for physical therapy to bring something like that on? Is it a good or bad sign?

Also, any opinions on the efficacy of Thiele massages?

Itching is a nerve related symptom. It's prominent in peripheral neuropathy.

So it's normal to experience a trigger point flare from PT as such?
