Hi Its the third time in my lifetime I'm dealing with prostatitis symptoms.
Initially I developed it shortly after using finasteride (propecia) 1mg to treat hair loss. It lasted like 5-6 months I had severe pains in groin testicles and so on and couldn't really sit down. I also developed a decrease in testicle size.
Then I started lifting weights and exercising and things got better till last year. Last year because I was a bit overtrained I tried some tribulus and some glandular therapy for some days. This brought up prostatitis and epidydimitis and another testicular shrinkage.
Now this year I am so pissed of with my low levels of energy I still have from overtraining and I decide to try SPEMAN (an ayurvedic product since I dislike pharmaceutical drugs that have given me more sides than anything else). I get a better overall feeling but few days later (I just took one pill) I get prostatitis pains again, and very sensitive and burning sensation in testicles. I'm so pissed of, I get another testicular shrinkage now down to 40% of original size) I enter urology clinic and ask questions but they give me no answers. They test and retest, no fluid after massage, no infection found but my testicle now 2 weeks later still gets inflamed and I can't sleep at night properly, I use ICE pads all the time to sit on. They only time I feel it is normal in temperature is while I walk or have the ice pad under me. I am worried for a further size decrease and already my testo levels are very low and I am still too young to have such problems.
Funny thing is that I don't get pain in penis, or frequency to urinate or any other symptom just a feeling that my left testicle most of the times (pretty much all day) is very hot and very sensitive. I really worry about it, only thing they gave me is BACTRIM since I took quinolones last year and was hospitalized with delusions pressure headaches and memory problems. Had to wait months to recover. Hope bactrim does something at least to decrease the inflamed feeling. I heard its also a dangerous drug so planning to quit it as soon as I notice anything.
If anyone else suffer from similar form of prostatitis with testicles being affected in that way pls give some insight!!!!!!!! (burning and sensitive feeling) ???
What is the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol?? Any suggestions??? I also take valium scarcely but hasnt done anything.
Open to any suggestions, except for using herbs/drugs that affect prostate and hormones in unknown way

Testicles are pulled close to the body by spasm in the deep pelvic muscles. You need to have your internal pelvic floor muscles assessed.

Webslave,
What muscle internally causes this to happen, I have had 6 internal sessions of PT. It's definitely helping but my testicles pull up close to my body frequently, no pain though.
If my PT can't find the muscle, Tim Sawyer should, right?

It's called the cremaster muscle and you can get a persistent spasm in that muscle if you have testicular torsion (see reference).
(BTW, the excellent book by Dr Potts in the reference above is obtainable here).
