Saw Palmetto
Its a more popular belief in Europe that Saw Palmetto can help in the cure or relief of chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome symptoms. How many men on this board currently use Saw Palmetto as part of their treatment? How long have you been taking it and finally do you feel it has helped?

Saw Palmetto
My father inlaw has a swollen prostate with no pain just trouble with his flow and he says it works for him . He has been on it for a year . I have not been on it long enough to form an opinion . But my cp is fading . But I gave up alcohol and coffee and a lot of different foods .

Re: Saw Palmetto
I got quite a bit of relief from saw palmetto for my urinary symptoms. However, I take relatively large doses - up to six 160 mg gel caps per day. I noticed results very quickly.

Well, I've been using the Saw Palmetto for some time (two months to be exact), but did not notice any improvement. Only a little bit after a first week, but I'm not sure I can put it on SP, since I've been using a lot of other stuff. Quercetin on the other hand, worked like a charm after only three or four days.

In my opinion Saw Palmetto is for BPH enlarged prostate, thats not to say you carnt get results from it. Everyones different! However, I dont think that SP is gret for CPPS.
