Good appointment with my Doctor today

Post by garyholc »

I met up with my GP today for a chat mainly about my ED issues. He has prescribed me 4 Viagra tablets, which I have to pay for, ruddy £6 a tablet!!! But anyway I'll give them a go and see how it goes and if it makes any change to my symptoms as well. Anyway we got chatting then more about the condition, and I was telling him about the research coming out about the HPA Axis, Cortisol levels etc and the HITP book. He was really interested, and there and then infront of me logged into Amazon and bought the latest copy of the book! Result! Hopefully that will be one less doctor in the world who throws antibiotics at this thing.

Hey Gary,

Glad to hear that your appointment went so well. It's very impressive that the doctor bought the book right in front of you! Good job. :-D

I hope the Viagra works out for you. Seems other guys have had success with it as far as ED goes.

Gary - the Cialis has been great for my ED - so I suspect the viagra will be helpful too! Just be a little careful if you have hypersensitivity as all that blood flow makes things almost so sensitive it hurts for me. Just make sure your partner is gentle

3rd PT Session with Bill Taylor

Post by garyholc »

HI everyone

Not long got back from Scotland and my 3rd PT session with Bill. The past few weeks I had been suffering new symptoms mainly in my lower back, pulling feeling in my groin and aching down my thighs. Bill said he kind of guessed I would have these symptoms, which he said isn't a bad sign as it shows the muscles in the pelvis have started to relax, but the other muscles are starting to struggle now and they also need attention.

So this session we did a lot of work on the external points, such as my back, groin and thighs. I have to say, the trigger points on my inner thigh are more painful than any others I have felt, a few seconds is all I could manage, I literally had tears in my eyes. Also a lot of work around to tailbone where I have been getting pain. This too was painful.

The internal work was excruciatingly painful this time. The trigger points I had cleared on my 1st visit had come back, mostly due to my motorbike ride a few weeks back (now sold). These took a lot of work to resolve and Bill had to keep stopping due to the amount of pain they were referring. I am sure I nearly passed out at one stage, not just the pain, but the amount of pressure Bill was applying. He also did some work twisting my hips and back etc, at one point in each direction came a loud crack as my bones got back into shape!!!

I was there again for 2 hours. At the end of the appointment he turned the ultrasound machine on, and checked my abs to ensure they were working correctly, which they were. He also showed me my bladder and did some work there just to show how the muscles around it are not relaxing as they should be. SO i am now home, shattered both physically and mentally but it was worth it. Again, thanks to Bill for being so patient, for constantly cracking jokes, and for putting me through sheer hell today!!!

Hi Gary,

Glad that your visit with Bill went well. It sounds as though he takes a lot of time in his work and is very reassuring for you! I think it's cool that he used ultrasound to show you muscle tension around your bladder. That's something I'd be interested in, too.

As for your inner thigh, I know what you mean! My PT found my first trigger point there on my last visit, and it was brutal to press on!

Oh yeah forgot to say.... when he was doing the extremely painful interior work, after he finished he left the room for 10 mins for me to recover and have a breather. The weird thing was, without even thinking about it, I had a massive erection, from no where!!! Luckily it went by the time Bill came back but I explained to him what happened and he said it was normal for this to sometimes happen due to the muscles getting better blood flow into them and becoming relaxed, he saw this as good thing. And to test it out I had sex tonight with my new girlfriend and no problems!!! No ED nothing, was great!

Glad it went well gary

Its quite a strange situation lying there with Bills finger up your bum with him cracking jokes, its a great tactic of his to relax you in a very strange situation :o

when he leaves the room to give you a rest I always think < oh my god if only my mates could see me now>

Cialis

Post by garyholc »

A friend of mine who is diabetic gets Cialis tablets for free due to his condition, so he gave me one on the weekend to try. I took it Saturday evening with no side effects apart from a bit of stuffy nose but that could have been due to my hay fever. Anyway, it had the desired effect, and over 2 days now since taking it, effects are still there!! However, best effect was it took away all my aches and pains below, yesterday around 5pm I noticed some symptoms of pain coming back, and looking up details of Cialis tablets on the web, the time this started was very close to the half life time of the tablet. I am going to get another one shortly and see if the same thing happens, but I felt back to normal all weekend :)

To be honest G I havent got them yet. It will cost me £31 for 4 tablets, so I thought it best to try something similar first for free to see if they work and not to waste £31. I have read a few instances where these tablets do not work for people with CPPS. Weird thing is, Friday my frequency feeling started to come back, which is the one I dread the most, I also have it again today, but, I have noticed not just today, but in the past, when I get the frequency feeling, my ED seems to go, its harder and longer like before and my libido comes back. When the frequency goes, so does my libido and my ED comes back. Whats going on there!!!! All I wonder is when I first started having this condition, all I had was frequency, I wonder if the condition is going back to its early stages on occasion, I just wish it would disappear completely!!! Give me some pain anyday over frequency, but anyone with any ideas as to what is going on here with regards frequency, ED and libido then I would be interested to hear your theory's!

I think the grass always feels greener depending on what your predominant symptoms is....

That, I think, is very true. By far, my predominant symptom is pain, but there have been one or two occasions where I've had to pee like crazy. I don't think I'd want either one more than the other!

Well unfortunately the frequency feeling is still here, doing my head in, and risking me losing this new relationship because I find it hard to go anywhere far in the car, sit in a restaurant etc. and its seriously getting me down now. I can't stand this feeling much longer, even sleeping is difficult. Am so annoyed, September last year was when the frequency feeling went, I have NO IDEA what brought the feeling back, but I want to get rid of it. I've tried finding the internal TP's at 1 and 11 o'clock but with no luck. Has anyone been able to locate TPs responsible for this and been able to rid themselves of their symptoms, I'll try anything. I am assuming this is being caused by TP's, or could other factors be involved over which I have no control i.e. bladder irritation inside or something :(
