Arachidonic Acid

Post by TJ88 »

This is a supplement I'm taking I'm not sure if its going to worsen my symptoms. Its supposedly increase inflammation in muscles after weight training to increase stimulation. I'm not sure how often my pelvic floor muscles are involved, but does muscle inflammation have a direct impact on symptoms?

I know of bodybuilding supplements with this. I avoid them like the plague, you are correct, this stuff is designed to promote inflammation, which working out does in and of itself. This compounds it under the theory inflammation is needed to promote growth responses.

As inflammation is a big problem of mine, I avoid this.

i'm not sure how much inflammation I actually have. I'm going to try it and see the results if it ends up worsening I suppose I'll just drop it. But interesting experiment to see. Also what supplements would you suggest scooby? I take whey thats about it right now. Creatine kinda makes me sick.

Bodybuilding supplements:

1) Whey protein--Beverly international Ultra Size by far the best IMHO, 2 shakes per day, 2 scoops per shake
2) Creatine-tried and true, definitely works; five grams upon waking with breakfast, 5 grams post training with shake
3) Ultra 40 Liver tablets with meals, 4 each meal, 6 meals per day; excellent source of beef protein and B vitamins, great energy levels.
4) Mass Aminos tabs, 4 each meal; completes the amino profile of meals
5) SuperPump250 pre workout; great kick and focus
6) Beverly International Muscle Synergy; Use this or #5, not both, do a lot of the same things.

When dieting I also add ALRI Restore or Gaspari Novedex XT to combat estrogenic fat storage, which is fat in the lower abdomen around the navel, glutes, and hip region, all where I store my fat.

Good Luck with the AA

As the immune system needs in high activation a lot of energy, mother nature has bundled the control of immune function and metabolism. It is a thumb rule, that 95% of metabolism boosting substances also boost immune system (inflammation).
