Great massage product

Post by Viking »

Hey guys

It`s been a while since I posted. Still continuing to make progress which is great. I was just on vacation in Florida and picked up this handheld massager from Brookstone (Max percussion massager). It is absolutely wonderful in treating muscles in the inner thighs, abdomen and I can also work the perineum and sphincter.

You should definately give such a product a try. I know there are several of them om the market. Just make sure you get one of quality.

All the best!!!!

Looks interesting and I'm tempted by this for both my use and also my wife (who has terrible triggerpoints in her back and shoulders).

How easy do you find it for self treatment?

I'm curious, I went to Marilyn Freedman yesterday and mentioned I had one of those (its almost exactly the same). I asked her if thats good for external trigger points and she said no. I should've been more clear because maybe she meant that I still need to use the Theracane but the hand held wouldn't hurt, but I took it as it would maybe do harm.
Age 21.. | Symptoms: Extreme discomfort in bladder, and lower abdomen.. To the point that I can't sit still, and sleep, can't do anything.. The only that will help is getting into the bath... Urinary frequency, Urinary hesitancy, sometimes taking a few minutes to get just a little bit out.. Sometimes lower back pain when I lay down at night.. Never have the golf ball feeling everybody talks about, and never have a problem sitting down.. Helps: Hot baths, Xanax (but makes me extremely tired), stretching (it seems like only sometimes), pain killers (ex: Percocet, but if I take them, they end up making me worse the next days following, probably due to the urinary retention they cause).. Makes worse: Stress is the main main thing, caffeine and spicy foods too, but not really a whole whole lot.. only a moderate amount..

doesn't trigger-point work need firm, constant touch - not vibration? That thing looks as though your shoulders would love it though!

I have been using something like this for external points. I figured it couldnt hurt me. I do feel relaxed afterward as you would expect. I am thinking about getting a Theracane though to see if I can tell a difference.
