I am still waiting to get a definitive diagnosis of CP (although most symptoms seem to point there; several instances of UTI in the past 5 years, frequent urination - esp at night, occassional discomfort in perineum and feeling of fullness in rectum) from my doctor. Following up with visit to Urologist in 2 weeks.
Currently on 2 week dosage of Cipro (although from what I sense on here, that will do little?).
Symptoms come and go and I had a few days of total relief.
I am going on a week vacation to the Carribean shortly and am concerned that I will have a flare up mid trip. Any suggestions on what to bring along to bring relief if such flare up occurs? I'd hate to be stuck and feel miserable the whole time.
Thanks

If you have had several documented UTIs, you may be one of the rare ones with Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis. Take a supply of antibiotics with you, just in case.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.

CBP is easier to treat (much easier), but usually involves long courses of flouroquinlone antibiotics.
