Fever like feeling gone

Post by calguy »

Well that fever like lethargic feeling is gone and dont know why. Heres how it happened- my girlfriend was fed up with me bumming around so she made get dressed up, dragged me to party and dinner and I got smashed. I did have a lot of fun. Next day we went to beach ,then watched angels get killed by sox and had pizza played with her son for a few hours and knocked out. Next day I was fine, felt like myself. could it be I just need to relax and get my mind off being sick, I dont know but makes sense some of it was in my head as some of you had mentioned. It was third week of antibiotics so dont know if that helped either. I think a lot of this is stress and emotionally related.
Age 32, onset 32 Onset Aug 07- frequency was main problem in the beginning-really bad. Now 1 to 2x per night when frequency flairs up. Sore and tight lower abdominal muscles. Occasional burning after bowel movement and full feeling. What helps: Healthy diet(this is huge for me) Started drinking super greens supplament and almost going totally vegetarian to get body more alkaline, starting Prosta-Q, quercetin/zinc tablet in morning helped frequency problem I believe. Massaging abs and doing stretches helps calm down frequency when it is acting up. Wine or vodka after long day. Flexeral and melatonin at night. Swimming and light weights. .5 of Elavil every other day helps with frequency and healing process. Trying to stay positive and not stressing over this!

Calguy--That's great to hear! For me, the worst part of this is the malaise and fever-feeling, so if you were able to get rid of it, congrats! I've had it for 5 months now, but I don't drink anymore. Maybe it was the alchohol that killed off whatever was floating around???

...........
Age:33 | Onset Age:19 | Symptoms:burning urethra, deep sore stinging around the perineum, dribbling | Helped By:when flare starts deep relaxing over a toilet to let out dribbling urine, hot bath, rubbing a heat cream on the perineum, Tens with a pad on the perineum, running, medication (solpadol) for pain. Current treatment: PT. | Worsened By:sitting, stressing over it, ejaculation, sometimes alcohol but I risk it. Been feeling a lot better last 6 months about 85% with a few flares lasting about 5 days. No longer having PT. Stretching every other night and I believe time is also a big factor for me

Seems like the laws of attraction in the works here. You went out and lived and enjoyed your self. ( with the exception of the angeles getting swept !!!) You had a good time and that to me is one of the key steps to getting well.

Age, 44 onset age 37 Feb 2006 Freq. need to urinate. Sensation of having to urinate soon after going. Perineum discomfort/burning/tightness, pubic area discomfort @ times, poor urine stream, post urine dripping/spray. All symptoms have improved with my protocol. At the worst I give it a 1 to 2 on irritation and discomfort and frequency. Helps: Elavil 5mg for anxiety and mast cell protection, (will only take it as needed) self internal PT as needed, stretching, walking, stairmaster cardio workout and light weights, reducing stress, moment to moment relaxation, deep breathing relaxation and using a Theracane. Makes worse: sitting for long periods, stress, over focusing on it. Currently 95%-98% recovered. Stay positive, relaxed and control your anxiety.

I agree carld, I think it was the stress that was killing me as this whole thing has me stressed out. I have to work on frequent urination now. I am going to try your suggestions after cystoscope next week. Now I am jst waiting to see if I get worse or better or what? Afraid when I get off antibiotics I will feel much worse though. Carld I read some of your messages in forum about this being stress and anxiety related, I feel it is huge part.

100% is my belief that this is a stress disorder and other factors just add to it like diet, injury etc.

What I mean by injury is not getting kicked in the nuts or falling on the frame of a bike after a big jump...( Ouch!!!) I'm thinking of sitting too long or jerking off to those free big tit websites in a tense state for hours at a time. I think you will see a silent pick up of CP/CPPS in this computer age. Clenching the pelvic area and sucking in the stomach is a huge factor. There is so much that adds to this.

I think after the cysto comes back normal you will see a drop in symptoms and you can really focus on SP and diet and start getiing your life back. Also don't forget your Girlfiend either. Don't bombard Her with all this shit...She needs the man she fell in love with and you have to play hurt sometimes to keep it going in a happy healthy way. Just my own experience in the works here my friend. :)
