i`ve been doing the S/P for 9 months now and past 3 weeks i`ve had stinging in the penis which comes and goes,i`ve had chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome for 3 yrs now and never had this before...is this a good sign that the muscles are stretching out or is it a bad sign that T/P`s have got worse?
i was taking any accredited quercetin product and Quercetin but stopped these in case this was causing it?

I too was starting to feel pain in the tip of my penis after four years of having CPPS. I also have been having both internal and external therapy done on me for a year and a half now equalling OVER one hundred and ten(110!!) appointments. I was getting a little nervous about this since I had heard about this horrid pain but never had pain in the tip of my penis. It is bad enough with all the other pain to begin with!! Luckily the throbbing pain went away after about a day and a half. My therapist said that this is all part of my ongoing symptoms and it should resolve itself as we continue therapy. So far he was right about that. This type of pain is somewhat common in many cases of CCPS so don't get too nervous over this. As your trigger points are slowly worked on, the penile pain should start to go away. Hang in there!! We are all here for you when you need our help. Be well!!

I encourage anxiety prone UCPPS people to consider L-Theanine
Age, 44 onset age 37 Feb 2006 Freq. need to urinate. Sensation of having to urinate soon after going. Perineum discomfort/burning/tightness, pubic area discomfort @ times, poor urine stream, post urine dripping/spray. All symptoms have improved with my protocol. At the worst I give it a 1 to 2 on irritation and discomfort and frequency. Helps: Elavil 5mg for anxiety and mast cell protection, (will only take it as needed) self internal PT as needed, stretching, walking, stairmaster cardio workout and light weights, reducing stress, moment to moment relaxation, deep breathing relaxation and using a Theracane. Makes worse: sitting for long periods, stress, over focusing on it. Currently 95%-98% recovered. Stay positive, relaxed and control your anxiety.

try spreading you leg apart (like 3 feet) and point your feet a little on the outside and go down slowly. When you feel pain, keep it there for a while and repeat. Eventually just go down until your knees are completely bent and move your pelvis in swinging motion (like your wife/GF would do sitting on your penis when she is on top).
This move has made the pain in the tip of my penis go away.

Age: 37 | Onset Age: 37 | Symptoms: variable but include: frequency to urinate, discomfort in tip of penis (including occasional tingling), pelvic pain, pain in left inner leg/left testis, heat and sweat between legs | Helped By: Q-Urol or Prosta-Q, taurine, hot bath, not sitting long hours, red wine (high in Quercetin I think, which reduces voiding a lot), stretching legs, pidgeon pause | Worsened By: sitting long hours, sitting in car .
Now I am cured!! Search for my posts on Harachair and squatting. I believe the symptoms are all caused by a misalignment of the pelvic bones that strains the muscles.

Interesting... I had this pain as well but it also happened months after my initial symptom and after I started to felt better.
Ya, scared me silly too because the pain was acute and almost made me fall to my knee when it suddenly comes on. Good thing it didn't happen too often or last too long (20 mintue tops).
I say just keep on getting better and soon this will be gone too.
