A little bit about my history...
I had always felt a more frequent sense of urgency to urinate, but it has never bothered me up until a year ago.
I have also always been prone to anxiety attacks. One time I even went to the emergency room because I thought I was having a heart attack.
4 years ago (I was 19) I lost a lot of weight (100 lbs) and joined the Army. It's also worth noting that I had a bad case of wrist tendonitis (bad combination of too much computer and weight-lifting). I first started to notice my frequency 2 years ago (I had just started gaining weight) when I couldn't sit through a movie without having to get up to go to the bathroom. As I said before, just a greater sense of urgency but not greatly bothersome.
Fast forward another year and I'm at my first duty station. At this point I had gained some more weight and was under a lot of stress (and pressure from commanders) to take it off. Needless to say I had a lot of anxiety. I was doing heavy weight-lifting and sprinting and running on top of all the stress (not to mention over-masturbation), and I think the combination of it all just made me go berserk. I started to have sharp pains in my rear end. I went through the whole 4 month course of antibiotics and even went to a Uro who suggested to insert a catheter (I didn't go to see him again - but I did do a lot of research and happen upon this site). It was at one of these websites (I think it was this one but I'm not sure) that I heard about Dr. Wise's book "A Headache in the Pelvis". I read it voraciously and am convinced this is my problem. Having read the book and understanding that it was an anxiety problem has relieved me of most of the sharp pains (I almost never get them now), HOWEVER I still suffer from frequent urination, micro-urea, and an over-all sense of "tightness".
My question is, how do I go about getting better? I would really like to go to one of Dr. Wise's intensive clinics but I simply cannot afford to go there for a week (not to mention the $3000 fee).

I forgot to add...I gained all of the 100lbs back, and am now trying to lose it again. The problem is I don't know if I should do weight-lifting anymore since it's supposed to worsen this. I've done a lot of reading on exercise and nutrition and I absolutely abhor aerobics, is there no other way around doing just cardio? I don't want to lose any muscle-mass while losing weight.

Welcome to the board, achamasi.
For the weight, I'd strongly recommend going to http://www.canaryclub.org
and ordering the Diagnotechs saliva test for cortisol and thyroid. It's a better test than what a doctor generally will give you. It also includes a testosterone test, but I think that's best done by blood. Low testosterone can contribute greatly to weight problems in men.
Have you considered gluten and other food sensitivity? If nothing else, cutting grains and dairy removed many opportunities to eat sugar and junk food. Hundred pound weight swings sounds like an underlying problem to me. Oprah probably thinks its all in your head, but I've noticed most crazy people are thin so I tend to think it's physical.

The weight issue can be explained by the diet & exercise regime I followed. My issue isn't parimarily the weight, it's CPPS.

Hey dude,
Good to talk to another Army dude. Its been said to death over and over but try not to worry to much and your life will start to improve. Take one thing and work on that, when that goes well the next thing will get easier. Also as you start to notice the symptoms improve you'll be much more positive. Personally I haven't read the Dr Wise book yet as I'm still working on the stress issue, as that gets better the pain decreases, my motivation goes up, life gets better and I move onto the next thing, work, fitness etc. Right now I'm thinking that some painkillers are in order so I can just forget about it for a little while. What Corp are you in killer?

As indicated in the book, start with stretches, which will cause flare ups (part of the game), check your food allergies (mine was wheat) and try an over the counter medication like Quercetin.
I had all the same symptoms you describe. Meditation tapes once a day help too.

I was medical, I'm no longer in the Army...long story. And thanks for actually answering my question. I'll start on the stretches and get some relaxation tapes.
