question about Antihistamines

Post by Orion »

Are Antihistamines supposed to help or hurt those of us suffering from CPPS?

I had a terrible cold last week and was taking something for it, and it seemed to me that my symptons lessened to a degree. Now, I don't know if that was due to lack of sexual activity or that I was taking something for the congestion...
Thanks.
Age: 31; age at onset: 18; symptoms: perineum pain, joint pain, pain in back, pain on left or right testicle, very bad fatigue, malaise, frequent/urgent urination (good stream though), weak/muted orgasms with symptoms getting worse after orgasm, anxiety, depression, 3 surgeries to repair bad strictures (urethrotomy and urethroplasties).

They help some people. Decongestants on the other hand could have the opposite effect to alpha blockers (i.e. make urination difficult).
