I hate thinking that I'm falling apart but I've noticed a tingling sensation that has started a couple of weeks ago in my right hand but has not spread to both hands and feet.
Is this another degenerative sign of this condition or is it my anxiety going into overdrive?
Tingling
Tingling
Age:37 | Onset Age: 35 | Symptoms: pain in testicles that comes and goes that also switches sides-trying to find a pattern as to "why" this happens/Rectal Burn at the 6 O'clock position at my anus which tends to flare around the periphery of my anus typically after defication but no perineum pain-no "golf ball" pain. Pain in testicles worsens as I sit but not always...Pain is not always present but depresses me. Pain used to be at a very high level but has subsided in time to a low level but has not gone away. Pain used to flare after sex but not as much as before although it still like playing russian roulette./
/Lack of SleepHelped By: I haven't found anything that has helped to my knowledge. Tried many many sessions of PT, accupuncture and chiropractic care but still have not found steady relief that takes me back to a pre CPPS state.

Tingling virtually anywhere is a well documented symptom of anxiety caused by reduced blood flow to the area.
It is not harmful.
The fact that you have been diagnosed with depression/anxiety, use words like "degenerative" and call yourself "very worried" show that there is a 99 percent certainty that this is only anxiety.
I have had similar experiences and worries and have had tingling in my feet, hands and sometimes my left arm which has to mean heart trouble right? Well actually no it doesn't and again it's well documented that the symptoms of health anxiety manifest and prey on our fears and expectations of what we believe the symptoms of a serious condition to be.
You'll be alright.
Btw SSRI medication and congnative therapy helped me greatly with this.

Age: 29 | Onset Age: 18 | Symptoms: burning thighs, lower back, increased urination, cloudy urine | Helped By: sorting my head out (Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)), forgetting about it | Worsened By: wheat, stress/anxiety
I get this a lot Rufus. Tingling in the extremities is a very common symptom of anxiety / Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Google search it. Its alarming I know but it passes. Richie had this symptom caused by a wheat allergy. I am beginning to think that I may be in the same boat so have started going gluten free.
But really it is a very common symptom of anxiety!
