Stretching of the pubococcygeus muscle

Post by Pelican »

Hey all

For the past few months I've been going on and off internal work on my own. I had a few PT sessions to get the hang of it. Basically this is what I do, stretching of the sphincter and just looking around for tps, found 2 so far that refuses to go away. I think they are on the pubococcygeus muscle. One of them shoots pain right out the buttock and hip joint. Instead of doing it clockwise with one finger I push two fingers in and spread them apart, this really stretches the whole area and it feels good afterwards until the flare pains start up :(
The first positive change I've noticed is harder erections along with a somewhat better ejaculation control.

After a chat with a PT who seemed to believe that the pubococcygeus muscle is my main issue I'm wondering how to stretch that muscle and finding it.

Do you stretch that as well when you stretch the anal sphincter?
I know that Scotsman, mike and some others here do internal stuff on their own and maybe you could give some guidance of how to find it and stretch it.

More info can be found here.

Best way I can recommend to treat any internal areas is to have a session when you start just inside the sphincter and slowly explore deeper inside, and be methodical about it, i.e. work around the interior like the hours of the clock, starting at 3pm, then 4pm, 5pm, etc - to make sure you cover everything. I'd also recommend taking notes on what you find - map out what's tender, etc. This will also be handy for you when measuring progress.

Once you've mapped the pelvic floor as best you can then I'd start treating the worst areas first with the usual pressing and holding for 30-60 seconds.
