Can someone explain the differences and how one diagnosis is made vs the other? I also wanted to know if having a very thick ejaculation all the time is bad. When I ejaculate, it is almost always a relief. It is also always extremely thick -- almost chunky and it is always very weak to come out (my urine stream is weak as well). Thanks in advance guys.

Not an easy question to answer. Some believe the two conditions are one and the same, and others do not (Dr. Moldwin believes they are different). He wants to check your bladder wall for glomerulations (consistent with IC).

Change in the consistency of ejaculate is a common symptom of men who suffer from chronic pain affecting the pelvic area. It's an annoying symptom, but nothing to worry about.

In my opinion these symptoms suggest muscle dysfuction.If the muscles are tired,in spasm etc they can not push those fluids with great force!
