Still symptom free after 2 months!

Post by Gegatso »

It has been a while since I have been on here. Actually, I have not been around because there has been no need to...I feel great.
I was just posting this as a "success story" of sorts -- at least so far. Unfortunately, just like every drug and treatment I tried - the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol did not do anything for me. (I'm most certainly NOT saying that it does not work, though!!) I even went to a PT recommended by a urologist and he was not able to find any trigger points or muscular problems anywhere. I have no clue what the cause of my prostatitis/CPPS/Pelvic pain is/was, but I did knock it away in 2 weeks and (with regular treatments) have gone over 2 months so far with not a single problem (and I was having them all).
I just want to give this as information to all of you who are not having successes with everything you're trying. What worked for me was resonant frequency therapy. I don't want to get any more specific, for I'm not selling anything and certainly don't want to be frowned upon by the great guys who run this board.

Don't ever give up hope!

What on earth is resonant frequency therapy? Tell us about it.

Well, it is rough to explain, but I'll give it a shot. Still after all the research and learning I did on my own, I am still much the beginner. Basically, it is the induction of sonic frequencies into the body either by way of handheld electrodes (or one's placed on each foot) or by plasma gas tubes. The technology was developed back in the 30's by a Dr. Roy Rife initially as a means of curing cancer. It worked, and the FDA became involved and pretty much wiped the whole thing off the map. (Oh, by the way - I actually met a man local to me here in St. Louis who *did* completely cure himself of cancer using the therapy. I saw the papers and such; it is a fact.) Back in May, Fox News did a story of a man who built his own device and got rid of his non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (story: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,156268,00.html ).
Anyway, there are frequencies that can kill cancer cells, viruses, bacterias, molds...all sorts of stuff. It is really not that far out there of an idea since (quoted from James Bare, D.C.) "muscle stimulators which relieve pain, reduce spasms and edema, tonify weak muscles, and assist the healing process, run at from 1 to 130 Hz. TENS units are used to block pain run at about 80 to 100 Hz. Interferential Therapy units are a type of muscle stimulator run at 3000 to 4000 Hz. Bio Feedback instruments used to modify behavior and retrain the nervous and muscular systems, run from below 1Hz to about 40 Hz. Bone Growth Stimulators, used to heal broken bones run at frequencies from about 40 to 80 Hz. Deep Brain Stimulators - use implanted electrodes to impart electrical pulses from between 120 and 160 Hz directly to the brain to control involuntary muscular tremors in Parkinson's disease."
Back to the topic, though...there are frequencies that fix prostatitis as well as interstitial cystitis (I actually had 3 doctors diagnose me with both.) If you suffer from pelvic myoneuropathy and the cause of your problem is muscular - frequency therapy probably won't do a thing for you and you're best off working with the Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol. I was convinced that *my* prostatitis was not muscular in origin by professionals. Be sure you have an accurate diagnosis and even then, get another opinion (or 2) just to make sure.
I hope I explained this pretty well....it is hard to believe, especially if you're as skeptical as I am. My proof was it working. If it Keeps it away for 6 months, I'll post that; the same if it stays gone a year.

This website does not endorse resonant frequency therapy. And I am not aware of any scientific evidence that the therapy can cure cancer or any other disorder for that matter. To be frank, this "treatment" has all the hallmarks of quackery.
This is not medical advice. Please consult your physician.

Well, I was diagnosed with chronic non-bacterial prostatitis as well as interstitial cystitis. Personally, I don't think they really knew what to call it. Every time I had a 6-week course of antibiotics (4 times in 9 months plus a few 2 week courses) it would help *a bit* during the time I was on the drug, but then the symptoms would creep back again. It would normally begin with the burning urination, then progress to the actual pain in the pelvis and "sitting on a golf ball". I even had bad swelling/inflammation of the meatus, making it unbelievably rough to walk. Urised made virtually no difference, and Baclofen made me feel woozy, but had no effect on the symptoms. I remember too many times sitting in a hot bath around midnight in tears and praying. Only by the grace of God did I pull through this.
Back to your question again, after the first round of antibiotics I was assured that there could not have been anything bacterial left down there causing my problems. Besides, it was quite some time before it began that I had sex - way too long for an onset of bacterial prostatitis.

That's what I thought as well. I looked at quackwatch and read what they had to say, but these same people also call chiropractors as well as the late, two time Nobel prize winning Dr. Linus Pauling quacks.
I had nothing to lose by trying another alternative therapy. I already did all the supplements with no luck and all three of my urologists were telling me to just "deal with it". So that's exactly what I did - took the situation into my own hands because the medical community was not helping me at all.
The first few days of my treatments, I felt nothing and thought it was a hoax, but I had more time on the return policy, so I kept going. After 2 weeks I had no sign at all of my problems. I kept at it daily for a month, then went to every other day. Now I just use it twice a week (preventatively, I guess).
All I want to say to everyone is keep trying. We're all different and may have different things causing our problems. I'm definitely not saying that this therapy is some sort of magic thing. It worked for me. Other things are working for other people. I just wanted to tell my story. Everyone - don't lose hope. For a while this board was the only thing that kept me from blowing my head off.

No. Mine is factory-built; microprocessor-controlled. It is even CE certified and used in clinics in Europe, Australia, and South America. Nothing like a TENS unit at all.

Congratulations on finding a solution. I hope it lasts for you.

Following this positive response to your treatment, have you any idea or hunch what your medical problem is/was?

Thank you! I hope it lasts as well! :) It's really liberating not to have to take a donut with me to sit on everywhere I go!
My best hunch as to what I have/had is some sort of "universal '-itis' condition." I had all of the symptoms of prostatitis (pain and burning when urinating, pain in the prostate, difficulty urinating, testicle pain, discharge, etc..) I also had a cystoscopy which showed that I had inflammation in the bladder as well as my prostate.
I think prostatitis and IC are related and probably put me in the catagory of "CPPS", even though three uro's kept saying it was the two other disorders.
I sincerely appreciate the good wishes and hope that yourself and everyone else on here finds their own way to treat this awful thing.

And to think I had faith in broccoli broth at one time.

Hey,

I'm glad you are feeling better.
Keep feeling good! :-D

Please don't advertise any products on this board, but can you tell us how much you spent to pursue this therapy?

Personally, I don't buy the cancer cure thing. I don't think VIPs would be dying of cancer if this technique worked for that.

But if you are feeling better, then I don't care if you payed prostitues to to dress up as Mo Town Divas and tickle you with pink flamingo feathers while reciting the Magna Carta. If it makes you feel better and isn't dangerous, keep it up.

This is not medical advice, and I am NOT a doctor of medicine or a related field.
* Age:33 Onset: February 2004.
* 99.9% IMPROVEMENT in 2.5 Years with the first year being the really hard part
* Current Symptoms: Mild irritation of perineal muscles on occasion. Relieved for days at a time by a specific stretch (see below).
* Initial Symptoms: Terrible penile, urethral, rectal, and perineal burning/aching with addition afferent sensations.
* Current Treatments: Deep stretching of the legs and pelvis. Most effective: Deep psoas and levitar ani stretch using the first phase of the "pigeon pose" from Yoga. When a deep pulling is felt in the middle of the pelvis next to the upper rectum, symptoms are completely alleviated for several days.
* Past Treatments Hyperprotection of the perineum for 1.7 years, Walking, Rectal biofeedback, Stanford/Wise-Anderson Protocol, Conditioned deep relaxation practice, Men's Multi-Vitamin and an Extra B-complex pill, all seemed to help.

Hey thank you very much for the good wishes! I intend to try to keep it going and will notify the board if and when I lapse back into trouble. I hope that doesn't happen.
I'm not about to advertise exactly what I used on this board, nor the cost - but I will say that I would have been willing to have spent a lot more than I have just to achieve my current physical status.
As for the cancer claims...I did meet a gentleman local to me here in St. Louis who did completely cure his cancer with a device similar to mine. I saw his copies of his records and all, and no - he was not selling or promoting anything.
On a more personal note, my mother has come close to completely getting rid of her arthritis pain (she says 80-90% better) by using my machine.
Now...where am I going to find some gals to tickle me with pink flamingo feathers? :-D
Thanks again for the good wishes...I hope I'm still as good four more months into this!

Understood. Its a shame that you can't give us a ballpark figure, however. But I understand if you don't want to.

For the same reasons, I can't tell you where to get the prostitutes and feathers or how much they would cost.

Seriously, though, take care!
