ED and orgasm

Post by danno »

does anybody else have difficulty achieving orgasm along with their CPPS? it's difficult to explain, but I have a generalised feeling that things are 'blocked up' in my pelvis, and as though the whole region is a little inflamed. Erections are difficult to maintain and orgasms are not as satisfying as they once were.
i notice that when things are really bad, the pain comes in sharp waves, or pulsations, which can be anywhere in my pelvic region. I also get little spasms and flashes of pain down my leg and in my lower back on the left side.
i am sure chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome has lowered my libido. I know I could cope with the pain much better if it did not have such a negative impact on my sex life. have started taking tribulus terrestris, which seems to be helping a little.
what have other people done to get their sex lifef in order? will relaxation, stretching and trigger point work eventually improve things?

Consistency seems to be my biggest issue. Sometimes all is good other days it's like there is no life down there. The hardest part is pinpointing what is triggering the good versus the bad. I want it to be good (high libido & erec all the time!) Does anybody know what can cause these fluctuations?

What drugs are you taking? Any anti-depressants? They can definitely affect your ability to "get it up and out".
Age: 45 Onset: 43. | Symptoms: Tightness, spasms, burning and pain in the perineum. Occassional mild pain after urination in the perineum. Helped by: Cardura, quitting caffiene, relaxation, fiber, stand up workstation and some PT a year ago. I've seen listed as the side-effects of Elavil, increased - or lowered - libido.

Whilst I've been lucky not to suffer from ED - I have felt my libido has been greatly reduced since having chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome (due in no small part to the pain caused by ejaculation in the early days).

However, I've been off dairy and yeast products now for 4 months (after getting a food intolerance test done) and my libido has increased 5 fold.

Worth looking into/considering.

Richard.

Hi mate

I did it via http://www.yorktest.co.uk/ and http://www.homeinonhealth.com/categorie ... cPath=3_21. I did the 113 Foodscan test.

Food Allergies

Post by JAF »

Thanks Richard - I will try this out (food allergy test). I too have seen symptoms for Elavil as both increased and lower libido but the fact that I've experienced both (and moreso increased while on it) tells me that it is generally having a positive effect.

Hopefully food allergies prove to be the primary catalyst that is driving this inconsistency because while I've tried nearly all of the remedies posted on this sitethat, altering my diet hasn't been one of them. If so, I have no problem going cold turkey on Yoghurt and Pasta!

Thanks again,

JAF

isn't it strange that some of us suffer from premature ejaculation while others suffer from delayed ejaculation and others have neither.
Why is it that symptoms differ so much from person to person, I just dont get it!
