Rise in the body temperature

Post by Desperato »

Dear friends,

has anyone experienced a rise in the body temperature, connected to CP/CPPS? How have you resolved that problem - any specific treatment, or has it disappeared by itself with the overall improvement?

Desp.

Many men with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome have spoken of having a non-specific fever or hot feeling. Nobody knows the significance. Autoimmune diseases sometimes feature nonspecific fever episodes. On the other hand, neuropathy sometimes gives rise to sensations of heat. Bottom line: it's common, but don't worry about it, it comes and goes.

I swear by garlic oil capsules for removing this feeling, I take more than the low maintenance type dose though on the brand instructions I use. It was very low and by upping it slightly I found it worked better. However check with your own doctor before doing stuff like that. I am not a doctor and am not telling anyone to do this I am just saying what *I* have found effective. Everyone is different though.

Interesting, Mike... what is the thinking behind the Garlic, or did u happen on it by accident - and what supplement do you take/how much of it ?

During the day my body often feels really warm all round my pelvic area and upper thighs (abductors) for hours at a time, and is aggravated by sitting - is this the sort of thing you guys are talking about ? It's not painful by any means but sometimes uncomfortable and anything that could potentially help would be very welcome to know about.

I am talking about a kind of flu like hot and cold feeling it's hard to explain anyway garlic helps it kind of fluke I suppose someone told me about garlic so I tried it to help the chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome pain but it took away this feeling of hot and cold flu like feeling instantly  I started it. I use the solgar garlic oil capsules US brand I think and I take maybe 2 or 3 a day if I feel bad with this or just one a day maintenance. Garlic oil is dirt cheap also. I am not sure garlic will help actual chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome pain although it's got many health properties if you look them up on google. YMMV.
