I do wonder if there is some evidence of the harmful effect of coffee on CP/CPPS or it is rather personal response? Also, are there any other ways of controling the fatigue syndrome?
Ralph, how long did it take for you to show some improvement when taking Elmiron?

Elmiron takes weeks to months for it to work. Don't expect results overnight. As for me, I saw improvement within 1 week. It may be I was improving anyway and the Elmiron did little to help. I'm really not sure. Under the supervision of a doctor, it's worth a try. I stopped the Elmiron about two weeks ago and still feel great, but I am taking Neurontin. I want to see if things deteriorate again. If not, then I plan to stop the Neurontin in the future to see what happens. I'm tring to find what really helps. With a condition that comes and goes sometimes with no apparent cause, it's hard to find what truely works.
