Hi,
I have recently started to experience a new symptom with regards to urination. I've probably had some problems before (ie. reduced stream) but not that it has really caught my attention until now.
As I urinate my flow does not seem as strong as usual, but rather constricted. Nearing the end, I try to use my muscles to "squeeze" the remainder out yet the flow does not get any stronger but instead I continue even after I stop (ie. when I no longer push and normally would have my stream stop). In the lack of a better word I could describe this as my muscles functioning with a lag. This symptom seems to come and go (like they all do) but it is most apparent in the mornings.
Has anyone been experiencing anything similar and have you been able to sort it out?

At that age it's not BPH then, but probably simply constriction of the urethra caused by our old friend prostatic inflammation. Your symptoms are pretty normal for this patient group.
