I'm scared. Simple as that. My wife is a wonderful person, but is very selfish in the bedroom. For a long time before we were married she wouldn't sleep with me (on religious grounds) but still wanted 'pleasuring' without returning the favour, and the concept of me doing all the work has pretty well been the pattern since.
So now I've got this problem, and I'm scared that before long I won't be able to get anything out of lovemaking, and, quite simply, she'll look elsewhere. And who would blame her. I've always felt a bit of a second class citizen in the bedroom, and to become a 'crippled' second class citizen would be too much to handle.
I need some reassurance that you can maintain a normal sex life with prostatitis. Please, anyone?

jonners,
The best thing you could do in this case would be to go get some marriage counseling. The problems with your wife have been going on for a while, so you should go get that resolved. I woud go to a Clinical Psychologist specializing in this area, not simply a "marriage counselor" with no advanced degree. It will be more expensive (generally about $100-150 an hour), but this is very important. Psychologists of the Adlarian school (Alfred Adler) are very good at dealing with these types of problems. Use the Internet and ask around.
Don't panic. You WILL get the health problem resolved. I had similar issues with my CP -I was worried about sex, my wife thought I was avoiding her, etc. All that is behind me right now.
