If you want to give that route a try, Bahn without question. Full disclosure, makes no promises, state of the art TRUS, and a great, trustworthy staff.

Before you consider any invasive procedure, read my recent post on this:

I also posted earlier on my experience with intraprostatic injections, so you can do a search for it

Benzo, who did your injections? I've made 4 trips to Bahn and experienced nothing like you describe.

Did you got blood on semen and urine?
Please let me know your experience.

Not cured, but much better. Internal PT also helps me. I actually believe I had a bug based on a major fungal infection throughout my genital area during my worst phase of pain. That resolved after Bahn's shots, as did the nerve type shooting pains and crawling. I've been to him 4 times, and each session he injects 6 locations, so thats 24 shots total. As of 2 weeks ago my prostate is 15cc, and my seminal vesicles look perfect. Just got back from the theater after seeing Slumdog Millionaire, and have no pain from the soft theater seats. Couldn't do that pre-Bahn. I'd be on fire with all sorts of other associated pains. It's hit or miss, and last I spoke with his office more patients of recent were unresponsive to the shots. Haven't had a drink in 7 years so it's luckily an issue I don't have to worry about.

Thanks neis for your feedback, but what i read of your condition it looks like you were worst, cause you can't even sit. That is very difficult stage.
My conditions are pain in the head of the penis after urination and the ball intercourse. Do you think that is not good situation to go to Bahn or I have to wait to be in worst condition?

Dr. Bahn's nurse told me patients with your symptoms don't respond well. Patients with perineum issues usually fare best.

dacasdo,

I would do whatever you can to try conservative measures before going to something like Bahn's injections. If you've been thoroughly checked by a urologist, then physical therapy would be a good next step.

Bahn's own website states that his injections are a therapy of last resort, with unpredictable outcomes.

ok thanks. What I'm upset is that I had a bacteria named enterobacter cloacae and it appears on the semen, then on the urine and it was nothing that kill that bug and a doctor gave me doxycycline that in the lab report says that the bacteria was resistant to that antibiotic and then it never came back on the reports.

What is was thinking is tell to my urologist that send me antibiotics for that bacteria and see what happen?

The therapy sounds good, but with that therapy the prostate will still be inflamed. I think that it is just a way to relax but it will still be inflamed and I can't sit or drink nothing or even start thinking on it every time I make pee.

Any comments for what I think. Thanks.

Dacasdo, you are not right in your assessment of physical therapy. When the nerves in the pelvis are properly calmed (through trigger point resolution, conscious relaxation, stress avoidance, dietary and activity modification, etc), the cross-talk to the pudendal nerve branches that innervate the prostate is stopped and the prostatic urethral inflammation starts to resolve. Injections of antibiotics will NOT help you with this. Bahn's shots also contain steroids that forcibly subdue inflammation in the prostate, but this helps men with perineal pain mostly, not men with inflammation in the bladder or urethra (and that's a lot of men with CPPS).

Thanks Webslave
I have my prostate inflamed and also the veins in my urethra. I suppose the docs named urethritis and maybe that's my discomfort when I make pee. When I make pee is like electricity and also a little of pain after. I don't know is that is the urethra or prostate.

That sounds like urethral inflammation, so Bahn's injections will not help you, as Neis suggests.

If you are in Europe, I suggest you visit Bill Taylor in the UK.
