I just got the book
"Healing Your Prostate: Natural Cures That Work"
Its worth the ten dollars. The best book I've read so far.
I have been suffering for about four months myself, but am starting to slowly get better I think. In my case I took Propecia for three weeks and it f%^ked me up, so I mainly post on the Propecia site. But anyway, had all the same symptoms, prostatitis, BPH, and conclusively just basically prostate disease symptoms.
This book is going to be my saviour I think.
Just check it out.
Your prostate can be healed, but it takes time and discipline!

Your symptom description is vague. Can you further elaborate?

burning in the perineum, pain and aching in testicles and dick, loss of some libido and some ED. digestion problems, flare-ups, all that. Prostatitis like symptoms. The ones we all have. I still get them too, but things are slowly improving I think.

Boston, please do not take offence, but we tend to be a little wary of posters who join up and immediately, in their first post, claim a certain product or book helped them, especially if the poster then ascribes miraculous powers to the product/book ("my saviour").
Why don't you give us a summary of what the book recommends?

It seems to be written by a homeopathic doctor, but written very well. Simple, short, easy to understand, and with hope. Its a ten dollar book, its worth the read.
I am following a lot of the advice.
A lot of which I had been before.
Diet, living, mind/body stuff, but just also remedies, qi flow, traditional medicine versus this better approach, great stories on how people with BPH and diagnosed prostate cancer have been healed completely.
Basicly just a lot about the prostate, and how to cure it in its peculiar location where it is, inner pelvic region.
Anyway. good buy! I'm sorry, I understand the skepticism, and I know I am also new here, but still, google it. Its a must read for all you guys, In my opinion.
And btw, if you wanna hear more about me go to the Propeciahelp.com forum and I am Boston over there. I have over a 150 posts there.
I was ready to jump off a mountain guys, just like half you all, but now I am healing.
Oh, btw, about to go on a 270 mile hike, hike "The Long Trail" End-to-end!!! To just hike this shit off, and then just out of my body for ever so I can turn back to normal.
I'm 31, and had a raging sex drive before all this, and I want it back, so I'm takin off for 3-4 weeks to walk/hike for 10-12 hours per day until all the blockages and inflammation is gone.
I just hope 3-4 weeks is long enough. I'm thinking definately 2-3 months would be, but anyway lets see.
Btw, I am on strict no fat diet w/ lots of flaxseed oil, water, vegetables, and other things!!
Peace guys, and good luck!
I hope I seem real now ;) ..best of luck.
Tell me what you guys think of the book, I can't believe its never been mentioned on this site before.
I basicly went on Amazon.com and ordered every good book I could on healing the prostate naturally, and came up with about 7 or 8 books that I ordered. Cost me about $60.. but so far this one has hit me the best. HAve only looked through 4 so far.

You're going to walk for 10-12 hours a day?! Sounds like a sure-fire recipe for getting worse to me....no offense.

he thinks the walking will unclog blocked ducts. I dont subscribe to that theory in my own personal case.
My issues are all muscular. And sometimes walking helps tire those tight muscles, but other times it tightens them up. IMO, 50/50 chance he'll feel better for a while.
Ill be interested in what he reports back.

10-12 hours a day? Unless you're a conditioned athlete...even if it's just walking....this is going to cause an injury if not exacerbate his condition.

Welcome to the forum, Boston.
Just remember that chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome is VERY different from BPH or prostate cancer. To get up to speed, you can check out the materials on "pelvic myoneuropathy" on this website.

Sam, it takes a few days to get conditioned, but after about 5-6 days your legs become more fit, and you increase distances. You listen to your body.

I would point out that LT had success from extensive walking so this may not be abad idea.

Lets give the guy a chance to speak before we right him off!
I will always speak out as to my cure (yes, dare I say that word) for this condition. I cured myself through diet, supplementation and lifestlye changes. So I give the thumbs up to any approach that uses nutrition as a foundation to helping this condition.
