Alright I live in Canada so right now we are entering into our Winter months which mean that the weather is getting colder and colder as each day passes. I understand how when the weather is colder that more of the symptoms of prostasitus like to show themselves.
This is my inquiry: I have noticed that when I am really cold, like I mena when my body tenses up, I also notice that my penis is a little smaller then normal, I'm guessing that this is typical of a cold temperature. But I have noticed that at times it seems as though maybe my penis has tensed up to the point where it has caused my uretha to be smaller causing there to be a little more difficulties when I urinate. Once a stream passes through my uretha seems to open right back up again. there is still that initial tensing that I am wondering about. would this be another symptom that I have to deal with?

When you are very cold, your muscles are much more tense, making the letting go part of urinating more difficult. It is not an important symptoms, just a normal physiological response.

Yes this I understand from reading about it on this forum and experiencing it first hand when ever there is a cold day.
So what your saying is that this is a normal thing that the body does.
I dont believe the constriction is coming from higher up when this happens.
Could this cause the muscles in the penis to constrict the urethra a little?

My experience is that all symptoms get worse when it's cold. So try to keep warm using enough clothes, more than you would think, and keep your feet warm and dry. Sleeping with a heatback also helps me after an especially bad day. Just don't go around freezing all day - there is no need to do that!

As for psychology - of course it's in my head! That said, cold weather doesn't help;-)

I spend my winters in Montreal and New York and long johns keeps my willy warm and happy. My lady tells me they are sexy too.
