Hey I wanted to say hello. I wanted to say I feel kinda Okay-ish. The burning stressed out fatigued feeling got better. I also slept 4 hours last weekend after lunch without any medication what so ever. My tinnitus sometimes doesn’t bother me anymore at night time. I don't even mask it. I think fasting is awesome to give the body some repair time. I am not there yet but I do feel a lot better since my last desperate post. I know there will be setbacks but for now I am a bit more optimistic. Hang in there guys. If CPPS is still an issue for you I think you should look into stretching.
Age: 32| Onset Age: 30 | Symptoms: “Cured“ now, no symptoms. Symptoms were: 8/10 pain, couldn't sit, bleeding anus, ED, HF (tinnitus too from stress), Insomnia or CFS | Helped By: Stretching, foam roller, hot baths, sauna, tennis ball, antidepressants (acupuncture and fasting improved the tinnitus a lot) | Worsened By: stress, sitting, chronic masturbation but yeah mainly stress | Other comments:

Meh havent slept at all last nigth because of tinnitus :/ I went back to living life and now it spiked again. I used headphones for a few hours with breakes in between and with low volume level. can't believe this is enough to set things of. To the long term tinnitus sufferers did it get worse over time?

This article states my thoughts: https://www.practicalpainmanagement.com ... n-can-kill

This case serves as a reminder that chronic persistent pain, under-treated and uncontrolled, can result in tragedy. This patient was 37 years old prior to his accident. He was gainfully employed and enjoying a good quality of life. Chronic pain can be a tremendous stressor and can affect virtually every organ system of the body. Tennant reviewed the literature and concluded that “Persistent unremitting pain may adversely affect the body’s endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, neurologic and musculoskeletal systems, and require aggressive treatment of the pain as well as the resultant complications.”2 Plotnikov et al,7 in a book published over a decade ago, made a particular point of showing that stress—regardless of the cause (naturally chronic pain can be one such stress)—can have an extremely deleterious affect on the immune system and even lead such patients to have higher risks of developing malignancies.

[...]

Because chronic pain syndromes are quite common and these medical conditions can cause significant systemic stress and adversely affect the quality of life, the clinician should treat pain aggressively as early as possible. The longer one waits to adequately get chronic pain under control, the more likely the body will decompensate and cascade into other significant medical problems affecting the endocrine, cardiovascular, immune, neurologic and/or musculoskeletal systems. This case report is a reminder of what can happen if chronic pain is not treated successfully. Can pain kill? You be the judge.

Hey,

wanted to give an update. I am ok atm even though I had some CPPS flare up again. Was mainly pain no ED. Had 0 anxiety about it. And if it flares it only lasts for like 2-4 hours a day. I sometimes still struggle to deal with the tinnitus but I guess from reading this forum here I maybe suffer from OCD which if I can get treated I can deal with the tinnitus better.
I have no burning eye or stomach feeling anymore. Also the super fatigued feeling is gone at least 5 days of the week. All that is actually super awesome.
Like Mark said its sometimes hard to understand why I was so suicidal and totally overwhelmed with everything. I am still living. I am still here. And considering what I went trough I am fairly ok.

Sometimes I go back deep down the rabbit hole for moments. Like when a colleague mentioned his mom couldn't taste/smell anymore after a fall. I was like oh shit I remember I couldn't taste anything for 2-3 days after getting CPPS. So weird what anxiety can do.

Actually I am enjoying things again. And I can sit again with no problem which is super awesome.
I think my thread is the best example for everyone new how important a good mental health/self control is. You should target those areas right at the start.

Have a good day everyone.
