Re: Cremaster Muscles For Testicular Pain?

Through last week, pain got better in that left testicle area. Then, at ejaculation yesterday, the cramping happened somewhere up and slightly under the pubic bone, which left it sore again. Apparently there is either a muscle pull, or a spasm that causes some kind of inflammation - or both. Either way, it's a kind of pain and soreness that weighs me down, and seems to extend all the way down to the epididymis. When I gently examine the testicle, the pain is not obvious unless I press on the just the right spot at the back of the testicle. But the spasm and ache seem to be in the spermatic chord, maybe the cremaster muscle. This sounds similar to what you guys have going on. Just wondering if you've had success healing it, or finding out more about what it is, and what caused it?

Helped by: deep breathing, mediation, hiking, distractions, exercise. Approximately 98% improved, varying depending on stress levels.

Hi, I'm new here, well, not technically, I was around when the forum first started then just went on my way for different reasons, I've have CPPS pelvic floor dysfunction since I was 19 which will now be 16 years, and while my symptoms have slowly faded in some ways, this testicular pain issue is one that's always perplexed me slightly, I noticed as many self aware men do, when you're cold or aroused, your testicles pull up into your body, during this time I noticed increased pain in the pelvic floor and genital regions, and even in the epididymis region, so like CPPSDad, I decided to lightly pull my testicles down with a OK sign with my thumb and forefinger, I noticed this actually relieved a lot of the pain after the initial discomfort so being the inventive person I am, I decided to cut a piece of very soft cotton and roll it up into a kind of rope and then I would tie it around my testicle sack ABOVE my testicles fairly tightly whenever I was doing my stretches, especially stretching out my stomach, with this technique I noticed a large amount of stretch from the cremasteric muscles all the way back to around my back where the muscle attaches and interacts with other muscles, I still use this technique to date, and it helps, it also helps cut down on arousal pain too. There have been many sexual toys that have been made that do the exact same thing, apparently having balls extended during arousal brings more pleasure even if they're not already in pain.

I plan on giving a story of my trials with CPPS as soon as I can, Something new in the area has come up and I'm hoping for some insight. Hope this helps, and don't go tying your testicles up if you don't know what you're doing, haha.

Tetro,
That makes sense. All the musculature down there, no surprise that it can have tightness issues. Thanks for the note, but I hope I don't have to do the rope thing.

For over a week now, that pain has faded to almost zero - though a couple times I thought I noticed a twinge. I'm still trying to figure out what I did right to make it fade, though I think a lot of it had to do with using a new Therapearl I bought. It's just a microwavable heat compress that I used for a few nights before bed. 20 minutes on, 20 off. The idea is to relax any tense muscles, and get blood flowing to the region. I probably should keep doing it - I stopped for a few days.

I'll keep an eye out for your story.
Cheers.

Sorry, to those who were watching this thread, waiting on me to report back with results. I don't like to post results without enough trials.

Anyway, with regard to cremaster stretching, the results are mixed. I could never fully eradicate the pain. Sometimes I felt like it got better. Other times, I stretched too hard and hurt myself for a few days. The cremaster muscle is definitely really sensitive and tender spot.

Overall, I feel like light stretching was worthwhile. But compared to the pressure I use on other muscles to keep them trigger-point free, there is no way I can stretch the cremaster in the same way without causing serious injury. So while I feel like there are many gains to be had with cremaster treatment, I don't think I could ever do enough work on it to really get to the root of the problem. The testicles are just too dangerous to mess around with.
This is NOT medical advice. I am NOT a doctor.
