Yep I've definitely got those too. They suck for sure.
Thank you for answering my questions and easing my troubles. Ill probably keep asking if I think of any other questions. Thanks again

Hey webslave,
Noticing some improvements. For a few days there I had noticeable improvements in cognitive function only to feel like its slipping now. Is it normal to go back and forth between feeling good and bad while doing therapy?

Thanks. It definitely has improved in the 5 days at the clinic. Kind of blew my mind.
I don't feel pain so it's confusing how it still affects the mind so much
webslave wrote:Yes, very common. In fact normal. Just persevere.
How long did it take you to get normal cognitive function?
It's been about 6 months for me now since the wise clinic and I've seen a lot of improvement with pain, easiness of treatment etc but I still seem to have some fogginess.
Mind you, it's MUCH better than before, but it's still not normal or even bordering normal.
Any advice?

Quite quickly with the fatigue (weeks). I did not have the other issues you mention at the time.

Yes, I did have CPPS at the time. The link to my history is in my signature.

This may be unrelated but I have tons of scalene and sternocleidomastoid trigger points. Basically my whole neck. I researched and neck trigger points, specifically the SMC, cause all these cognitive issues. Have you ever check your neck out or looked into this webslave?
I just looked into this a few days ago and had my mom help me with the therapy on my neck. I woke up today with better brain function but then I treated them again tonight and it flared my brain fog up. Or at least I assume that's what flared me up. Would love some input.
I have never been to a PT. I treat myself with a Theracane to shoulders and neck, and a Wahl Massager

The Wahl does help, but direct hard pressing is vital too.
I don't think trigger points directly affect cognition. Remember that CPPS patients often have fibromyalgia and/or chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). CFS can definitively affect cognition.
