Hey Brock.
I just wanted to input here and say that I too had libido and arousal issues due to this condition and it took a year had a half for me to see results from therapy. That year and a half was full of ups and downs. Sometimes on and sometimes off but through physical therapy I made large amounts of progress. I can tell you that this is a muscle issue as far as I'm concerned. All these pelvic muscles come together to create normal natural function. If any of them are out of sorts you will see negative results. Through therapy I have released some just to tighten others and have had my symptoms change over night. They gradually changed for the better over a year but I noticed real change in the first 3 to 6 months of PT. Granted I had to go much deeper internally to see the most effect. My PT like any PT can only go so far in with their fingers and it took me doing my own self PT with a wand to begin having an effect. I recommend exploring this territory and you will know instantly if you hit a trigger point or tight spot internally. For me I knew right away because when I even lightly touched the area about 6-7 inches in internally it brought tears to my eyes. It takes perseverance and effort but you have to start somewhere.
Any help will be most appreciated

Thanks for that neue01. . I'll certainly give it consideration.
My main problem is I have not been diagnosed yet. I am still thinking its CP but every doctor and specialist I speak to seems to think otherwise. Lately, I have noticed a slight return in my libido/erections but I think its most likely due to not being as paranoid about it with my girlfriend. I guess its a comfort thing. Its difficult to get turned on when your libido is not their AND being paranoid about not performing due to the problem.
I'm having my kidneys checked tomorrow just to rule out the back pain. I mostly not have a sharp pain the left testicle that comes and goes. My doctor is positive that it is down to some infection, especially since there is a white discharge that coincides with the pain. I have to pick up some some slides so that they can check the discharge under a microscope at hospital. I'm praying that they find something.
If all else fails and I can somehow or another confirm that this is indeed CP, then I will be more willing to try the PT. At the moment I'm still a little precarious on that front. Thanks for your help.

Re: Any help will be most appreciated
Just a quick update..
Went to see a kidney specialist today. He doesn't think my kidneys have anything to do with it and after reviewing my case immediately informed me about potential chronic prostatitis. He was very knowledgeable about everything and helped me more than the other 4 specialists combined. He wants me to stop the antibiotics for 3 weeks. He said we will then conduct full blood work, pre and post prostate massage urine tests and microscopy of any discharge in order to try and grow any potential bacteria. A far cry from the usual 'its all in your head' answers I was getting from the other doctors. Who knows, maybe this doctor will actually find something and be in a position to provide me with some help.

But spookily, they may be right after all. It's good that you have a motivated doctor, but don't get your hopes up that he'll find "something".brock wrote:A far cry from the usual 'its all in your head' answers I was getting from the other doctors.
Good News! The great ProstaQ is BACK at last! You must try it.
