TRUS results
I had a TRUS done. My doctor tells me that my prostate looks pretty normal and no occlusions. However the seminal vesicles are enlarged/inflamed. I've been on the antibiotic regime before for prostatitis. What could cause this problem other than bacteria? Could this be the problem all along instead of the prostate. Or is the prostate not allowing the seminal ducts to drain properly?
Age:33 | Onset Age:on and off since 16 | Symptoms: Semen Leakage when having a bowel movement, perineum pain, urethritits symptoms, Itching urethra, NO Bacteria ever found. | Helped By:reading A Headache in the Pelvis. | Worsened By: sitting, worrying about my problem (Antibiotics don't help, no bacteria in prostatic secretions).

The seminal vesicles, like any organ in the body, can develop pathology.

Re: Avodart, seminal vesicles, excess seminal fluid (Mapletop)
Hey guys an update. I am somewhat better but I don't think Avodart is the reason. I've been taking avodart for 3 months. I am beginning to lose interest in sex so I am going to stop taking it.
As far as my problem with the excessive seminal fluid etc. When I first experienced this problem when I was younger I was told it was my prostate (this happened once before when i was 14 and mysteriously went away). So naturally I thought to protect my prostate with "prostate" vitamin pills that you all have seen. For a while I had been taking these pills. When these symptoms started I tried more and more of saw palmetto, and zinc. I was taking vitamin pills that were specifically for the prostate. This is so weird, because once I stopped taking the zinc and vitamins etc.. the symptoms decreased. Is it possible that the extra zinc (or other vitamins) made my body produce more seminal fluid. Or possibly could it have affected the seminal fluid pH and caused problems. If anyone can add to this or has any information please share.
