i think I'm the opposite if you can believe it. I've been studiously working away on my 40 page essays, spending long sessions in the computer chair without any medications, stressed as hell. But I feel generally fine, other than the slightly numb/sore butt and perineum. (I'd put the pain at a 2 or 3). I am peeing normally again, thank god! I hope it lasts.

But my problem was far worse in the summer during my bullshit summer job where I pretty much just talked with the girls at the front, etc and didn't strain myself in any way.

It's quite strange. Maybe it is burning itself out after all. :-|

Crap is different for all of us.....I don't think any two of us are the same as far as symptoms etc. One good thing about the new job is the stand-up workstation...that really helped. So I guess in the long run things have been a little better for me since I switched jobs.
