Hey guys. I have been going thru chronic pelvic pain for 11 months. The symptoms I am experiencing is chronic pain in my left abdomen and right testicle pain. Everytime I sit down my symptoms start to flare up as well as a feeling of a golf ball up my rectum along with abdomen and testicle pain.I have recently been seeing a physical therapist for about 4 sessions so far. The other day She did a external trigger point in my left lower abdomen and left it there for a good minute or so. As she did this it replicated the same exact pain I have been feeling in my abdomen for so many months. After about an hour or so I felt totally different as the pain was not there anymore.
Has anyone ever experienced subsiding of pain with an hour or so with external external trigger point?? For the past couple of days, actually for 4 days, the pain in my lower left abdomen has almost gone although when I feel stress I can feel it tighten.
Three more questions:
1. Are there any external trigger points that associate directly to right testicle pain?
2. Also are there any external trigger points that gear towards stopping the golf ball feeling in my rectum as I sit all the time ?
3. What external trigger point helps if I eat something that is too acidic that causes burning and frequency?
Any information would help. Thank you so much !

I hate to keep mentioning hernias, but hernias, even small non-palpable ones, can be associated with testicle pain, and if she pressed in just the right spot she could have "reduced" the hernia. Did she press in the area indicated?

If not, then yes, this could be a trigger point issue. Trigger points refer pain; for instance, my shoulder trigger points cause me headaches.

She didn't press there, she pressed on the left side of my abdomen which created the exact abdomen pain I have been feeling for so many months. After about an hour or two my pain decreased as though it died down. Ever since then I have been feeling so much better to the point I don't notice it anymore.
Do you know which external trigger points is associated with pain when I sit, pain in the right testicle and burning and frequency pain in the penis? I'm curious so I can tell the physical therapist to see if she can attack these trigger point muscles.

See page 175 of The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Clair Davies. Trigger points in the abdomen can be referred into testicles and sex organs. The exact locations of these trigger points are slightly different in each person, and the therapist has to discover them, as in your case.

Has anyone dealt with a constant buzzing sensation in their penis. This is going on Day 3, where all day long I get this buzzing vibrating feeling that vibrates for 3 seconds then stop and the cycles all day. Please help to advise. Also, it feel like at times when I urinate the urine feels like its stuck and I have to empty it.

Yes, that's a common phenomenon related to muscle spasm. Search the site for the word 'fasciculations'.
The "stuck urine" sensation is usually just paresthesia and can be ignored (unless there is also extensive dribbling and leakage, in which case report back and we can discuss further).

There can be a little residual urine because the canal of the urethra is inflamed and a little constricted. This will subside as the inflammation goes away (follow the Tips thread in the Facts subforum).
