20/20 on pelvic pain

Post by BrettP »

Did any of you guys catch the 20 20 on female pelvic pain? Was interesting. Even though it was on female pelvic pain, and not on male, it kind of hit on similar muscular issues. And I guess there is some surgery they can perform on females to relieve the pain. Talked about PT and doctors massaging the tissue. Apparently whatever the doctors were removing from the women (some swatch of tissue or something, I caught the last few minutes) was able to make them well again. Could be on a rerun, or on the website, I think its worth watching...

BTW. . I've been doing pretty good and I think a high fiber diet has helped me regulate things in my digestive track. Haven't had any more really bad pain, but just some irritation here and there. Mostly do in fact to tension caused by constipation. I have been eating some flax seed and fiber supplements, along wit trying to get my daily dose. Its worth a shot if you suffer from that aspect. Anyways hope everyone is doing well.
Good to go!

The "nerve-ending " pain described in the video exactly parallels the inflammatory pain in the prostatic ducts that men experience. It's connected to the crosstalk that takes place between major nerve branches.

Here is yet another version of the 20/20 episode from ABC in New York. Amy Stein from Beyond Basics PT is featured modeling some good stretches for relieving pelvic pain. (Note the Theracane in the last part!)

Is there a way to download this?
Age: 52 | Onset Age: 52 | Symptoms: fairly constant groin "burning", not really related to urination (it feels better after I do it), some post ejaculation soreness.Helped By: hot baths, relaxation, Xanax | Worsened By: too many orgasms, anything but really gentle sex, driving and other stressful activities. Tried: Multiple antibiotic, although I never went more than 2 weeks on any particular one. Did I need 4 to six weeks on Cipro, for example? Prosta Q, PEENUTS, experimenting with Chinese herbs now. Suggestions are welcomed.
