This is a post for Webslave. I appreciate all the time you spend on the board and the good information you provide. I have recommended your site to my physician and PT.
I have ready several times that you have been in remission/"beaten this thing". I searched for a while and could not find your story. Would you be so kind and share your history and what you did (and continue to do) to finally beat this thing?
Thanks!

Re: Webslave's story?
Thanks. One other question. Even though you have been symptom free for this time, do you continue with the protocol? If so, how often? If not, why not?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Webslave's story?
All I do now is take quercetin occasionally, avoid stress as much as possible, and avoid gluten (YMMV). That seems to keep me completely healthy.

I just started on a wheat/gluten/peanut/yeast free diet to help reduce inflammation and the potentially leaky gut syndrome. It's not always easy to be consistent with it. Do you have any advice/tips to give regarding staying on a G-free diet? For example, I having been using rice bread instead of regular wheat bread and making other substitutes like that.
Thanks Webslave!

Re: Webslave's story?
- Read labels! Wheat/gluten is often hidden in the ingredients. Even the "fish" in some sushi is made of wheat!
- Stores like Trader Joes have a list of gluten-free foods
- Rice cakes are great
- Buy rice flour and make your own cookies, scones, bread, pancakes etc

What I like about Webslaves story is no Surgery involved. AND - he is cured. Once people stop believing they will never get better is the day they start improving. Having an Admin that has come full circle is helpful to the rest of us.

Re: Webslave's story?
I am fond of corn tortillas, actually prefer them to normal wraps

u can freeze them and then add a wee bit of water and stick them in the microwave, I'm actually missing them a lot at the minute as the supplier is out of stock and am considering making my own, its easy if you know how (youtube)
