It would be nice if we can do the same about self massage. And in particular the internal one.
I read few posts where people mention that they are doing the massages by themselves .
I have to go to this option, cause Sadly I am not getting much from my PT. I will still see her for now though.
However since I am able to reach points that really hurt and that simulate the same pain that I am having, I am at the same time a bit afraid of hurting myself, or of confusing some senstive points with the trigger points.
Today I am in pain after a self massage that gave me pain in the L. testicule , the one where I sometimes have pain.
trouble with self massage
Re: trouble with self massage
I can't give any advice on the self massage, I would leave that to the pro's as I would be afraid of hurting myself too. When I have the pain my my testiclewinding_road wrote:I am in pain after a self massage that gave me pain in the L. testicule , the one where I sometimes have pain.
Age: 41. Symptoms: Testicular Pain, Perineum, Erectile Dysfunction, Premature Ejaculation, Frequency and Dribbling. Helped by: Lorazepam for anxiety, Ultram or Vicodin (if I can get it) for pain, Athletic Supporter (Jock). Makes worse: Hot bathes or showers or anything that causes my testes to hang too low. If I ejaculate I can count on 3 days of steady pain to follow.
Self massage should really only be done after you have had it performed on you numerous times by someone who knows what they are doing. That's the only way you can know what things should feel like. Other than this, you are going in blind.
