Voltarol

Has anyone tried this anti-inflammatory? I'm having reasonably good effects from it. Feel free to knock me back if it has terrible long-term effects. I prefer to know.

It's a simple NSAID. Cannot be taken long-term, IMO. Look out for gastric troubles. May help for a while.

I took a lot of Ibuprofen the prior year and a half. Now I have some gastric troubles so I try not to take it if I don't have to (plus the SP has reduced my pain so I don't have to take much). I assume my stomach lining is thinner or more irritated now from all the Ibuprofen. Does anyone know if the NSAIDs cause permanent damage? Or will my stomach recover over time?
This is NOT medical advice. I am NOT a doctor.

I don't know but would have thought that it was the body's natural inclination to heal itself over time.
