Re: Starting pelvic treatment after 4 and a half years

Hey buddy, I am mostly ok these days.

TBH ATM it is mostly fatigue/general malaise that gets me now and then, than actual pain but nothing that stops me going along my days.

I have some discomfort but nothing like the pain I used to experience. I still think this is some condition of the mind ...

Not anymore but she is very good (South West). Frankly I don't believe in trigger points but it is good to have something to grab to in the darkest moments.

Re: CP/CPPS after unprotected sex

Forgot to mention CBT. It's good to have someone to talk to who is not involved in your life.

Also they can give useful guidance about sleep. Some advice that I found most useful was, in case you cannot sleep, go and do something else until you are so tired you cannot not sleep. It gives you the ...

Re: CP/CPPS after unprotected sex

Hey,
I used to have all these exact symptoms and to some extent I still do after 18 months but I am MUCH better generally and I have long spells in which I am just OK. My sleep pattern is back to normal, I am down all night long and anxiety is minimal and manageable with some deep breathing ...

Re: New Here (aazzone in UK)

Hi guys, I am popping back to give an update.

After the worst months of my life in which I must have had a nervous breakdown, I started very slowly to get my mind back. I have been since March on 10mg Amytriptyline that seem to take the edge off the pain, although CPPS is still there without ...

Re: New Here (aazzone in UK)

Here is an update from me. I started on Zoloft as I think lots of the symptoms I have may be related to severe anxiety (dizziness, sleep disruption, tingling, numbness in hands at night, etc.)

My main problem, beside sleep that seems to be slightly better, is that after a while sitting I start to ...

Re: New Here (aazzone in UK)

Hey want to share an update. Overall I think pain has gone down over time but even if dull it still brings my mental health to its knees. Also I often have tingling in the legs and feet that is quite disturbing.

My main problem is sleep. When I go to bed my breath gets really fatigued (anxiety ...

I have the heat flashes too and agree it must be due to anxiety.

Re: Typical CPPS...or something else?

Would strongly recommend meditation. So far its the only thing that has consistently helped me in keeping some mind balance. After a bit of practice you will be able to get some calm, in the same way as when you have a good time you feel a lot less (or no) pain.

I have had this for a few months ...

Yeah, I am following the same principle and had been able to go out a couple of evenings without the overwhelming need to hide under a table and diseapper :)

Re: New Here (aazzone in UK)

Hey,
my discomfort has gone better overall on both penis and groin. I can now concentrate on work and ejaculation does not make my glans look like a tomato as much as before.

My main problem is that I feel very tired most of the times, have problem with sleep every other night and have more often ...
