Re: First Post - Hematospermia

IMHO, and it's just an opinion, that could be said about any treatment we seek to fix this. I think we are all capable of feeling a placebo effect from any treatment. You make a valid point when you say there should be a "proper peer - reviewed study" and I am all for it, but until one is done, the ...

Re: First Post - Hematospermia

The DCT thing is a fad, until proved otherwise. There are no studies, just some anecdotes, and those are notoriously unreliable.

I totally respect what you are saying Webslave... However - There is only one way to find out, and somebody has to be willing to do it and find that out for sure. I ...

Re: Moe's Case

My urgency began at the same time all the usual CPPS symptoms began. So when I hear this, it definitely makes no sense to me.

Re: Dynamic Contraction Technique DCT Therapy thread

You're 50, suffer from CPPS and work 70 hours. I’d also feel like a Truck hit me LOL. You gotta chill dude.

Hey Neo... Believe it or not, work has been the best medicine for me. Even better than DCT. Work used to be my biggest problem in life up until 2yrs ago. I made some changes. Sure I work ...

Re: Dynamic Contraction Technique DCT Therapy thread

Please Update the result about your DCT

To answer your question, I am doing better. I am not quite where I want to be, but that is mostly my fault. I started doing DCT, right about the time my schedule at work changes for about 6 months. There are some weeks I am averaging over 70hrs at work. So ...

webslave wrote: Sat Aug 03, 2019 9:35 pm No, you are not using it for sexual purposes so timing is not important. I would take it any time that it's convenient.

Re: Any experiences with low dose Cialis?

Dose should be 5 mg orally once a day at approximately the same time, without regard to timing of sexual activity

Due to its half life, I was wondering that if I took it before bed, would I be losing out on any of its advantages for pain and urgency during my hours awake? I've never taken the ...

Re: Any experiences with low dose Cialis?

I have a question. When taking the Cialis for this, what is the recommended time of day to take it?

I am doing better than I was doing 4-6 months ago, but when this stuff flares up, it's still frustrating. I could be perfectly fine, and either sex or a bowel movement is going to cause a flare 3/4 ...

Blasteen - I'm surprised by your mention of chicken. It's been a safe food for me in regards to bowel movements.

Re: Urethritis or CBP or CPPS?

There is a very good chance your problem is not bacterial. I'm not sure you are ready yet to accept that. You'll get tired of chasing something that isn't there, and only then you will be ready. How do I know? These forums are full of people who have been down the Bacteria route, and it's a ...

Re: My Story. 2 years of suffering. Asking your opinion

Any thoughts? Could be the cause of my symptoms?

It's still a mystery to me how horribly both CPPS and the issues on the other side aren't playing very well together with many of us. I felt that after I did the prep the day before my last colonoscopy, I felt that the cleanout relieved many of ...

Re: Osteopathy: Any hope?

My current Urologist is a DO and not an MD. He was recommended by my last Urologist that was an MD. Actually I was passed off to my current one. It was his suggestion that with CPPS, I would be better off with a Urologist taking a more holistic approach with CPPS. Doing so kind of made sense to me ...

Re: Pelvic Misalignment/shorter leg...custom shoes

In late 1999, I shattered and dislocated my left ankle. I had one of the best foot and ankle Orthopedic Surgeons in Chicago repair it. At the time, I was told it was probably the worst break to date that he ever repaired. There was some talk at the time that there was a possibility that the left leg ...

Re: Who has been healed from this affliction?

That's when the nightmare began for me. It happened late in October of 2015. I woke up one morning and the urge to urinate became constant. I started doing DCT about 3 months ago and started seeing some slow but slight to moderate improvement in pain and urinary frequency. Bowel movements and sex ...
