Have you thought about looking at your fibre intake? I had a picture somewhat similar to yours with mainly urinary symptoms. I tried many things but increasing the fibre in my diet was by far the greatest help. Adult males need around 25-30g per day and the average western diet gets nowhere close

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate
Hi, just following up on this thread. Seems a few of us have had this symptom of bouts of urinary awareness, frequency, burning bladder sensation but without classic or prominent CPPS pain; often precipitated by ejaculation. For my part I can report overall it has dampened down I guess, but I still ...

i have used it for ance rosacea, only 5mg per day. It did wonders for my skin with no obvious effects either way on my CPPS that I could tell

Re: Nickel on NGS and the urobiome
Thank you, webslave. In a few short lines you have very succinctly delivered a lot of clarity on this topic with good evidence to back it up. Unfortunately people promoting these tests try to do the opposite to keep desperate people spending their money on dubious investigations.

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate
Hi Stefan, how are you going with that? My sensation of "urinary awareness" waxes and wanes still. I try to ignore it but sometimes its difficult. Happy to share any other insights

Re: No pain - just constant sensation of needing to urinate
Hi and thanks for the contributions. Just wanted to add to this chain for what it's worth. I also get a very similar cluster of features associated with frequency to what has been described above; its my only residual issue now.
fluctuating frequency or abnormal urinary "awareness"

Re: High dosage turmeric
Hi Avyar, Thanks for the post. I am just wondering what supplement brand you use that has such high doses? Most of the ones I have seen are only 100mg tablets and you would need to consume half a bottle to get those doses!
thanks
thanks

Re: Alex from Greece
Hello Alex and thanks for your posts. I am also in Sydney and have symptoms remarkably similar to yours with the major (only ) component now being frequency and awareness of the bladder which, at its worst, disturbs sleep. Occasionally some stinging penis tip and on ejaculation. I tried internal PT ...

Thanks for the article which I read with interest. That article and also the OAB literature I have read seems to emphasise urgency and incontinence as a significant feature of OAB and the pelvic floor strengthening exercises and various strategies seem primarily aimed at reducing or controlling ...

Thanks yes I will check that out.
I'm wondering if anyone has similar symptoms to me and possible has some advice; I'm a bit depressed over this condition and feel it will never resolve.

Re: Moe's Case
Is there any group for this condition and what is it called? Fluctuating Frequent urination and having to get up at night as well (also fluctuates from 1-3 times a night) is now my only residual symptom as well (apart from very mild penis tip discomfort on occasions). Thanks

flare with prominent urinary symptoms-any advice
Hi, I have had CPPS for about 3-4 years now. Up and down over that time, never 100% resolved, but got pretty close at some points.
My problem now is a flare with prominent urinary symptoms persisting for a few weeks now. The best way I could describe it is a persistent almost constant "urinary ...

Hey man; yes you can, sounds like you have a lot to live for!

hey Force6, I had a story very similar to yours. I was recently divorced and developed some symptoms after a sexual encounter....like yourself all tests etc were negative. I had no bad feeling or guilt about the encounter itself but what did stress me big time was the fear, anxiety and catastrophic ...

Re: Cystoscopy - ????
I agree, it takes a few days at least for is all to settle...after all when you think about it, it's tiny wounds inside which have to heal.
I had cystoscopy and prostate injections of steroid (which did not help by the way). It took a few days for initial bleeding upon urination to settle and a week ...
