Re: Ejaculatory Duct dysfunction and CPPS
This article is misleading because the title states dysfunction but the article discusses obstruction ...In the case of proven obstruction, well then yes have that surgically taken care of...But why is it titled "dysfunction" in your header?
Obviously an obstruction will cause the dysfunction ...

Re: Ejaculatory Duct dysfunction and CPPS
I don't agree with this at all....
What were looking at is pelvic floor dysfunction and as a whole the dysfunction can relate to all the processes of the pelvic floor and the organs that are supported by it...
I'm willing to say that 99.9999% of any men who have had any surgery to treat their UCPPS ...

Uro Sending Me To PT
I thought you folks might find this interesting. I saw my uro again today, and since I'm still having some symptoms he recommended that I try PT. (He had mentioned this as a possibility at my last visit.) He said that he has had a good success rate with it, which he thought was partly due to the ...

Re: L- Theanine for anxiety
I picked a combo of theanine of GABA recently but don't have enough experience with it yet to say anything about it (nor have I been especially anxious recently). I also got some trypothan, which does help with sleep.

Re: Genital Pain Only
Is the CT scan to check for kidney stones? I had one of those done (negative), although that was largely due to the fact that two of many urine samples showed trace blood.

Re: Obtaining Medication for Low Libido/ED
I can't help except to say that I think you might be underestimating the chances that a doctor would prescribe these meds. I'd certainly ask before going through a dodgy website someplace. I can't speak from first-hand experience because ED has never been one of my symptoms (and while I was about ...

Re: epididymitis or hernia rather than prostatitis?
My current go-around with chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome started with testicular pain, which later progressed into other symptoms. I've got hydroceles and they were initially pretty interested in them, but when the ultrasound came back clean and the symptoms changed then it ...

Re: Opposing Views: CPPS Syndrome or Disease
I agree with neither, actually. Nickel says CPPS is"not due to any single known disease process." This is a terribly premature statement that pre-empts possible and even probably findings in the future.
I don't follow this, given that he says any single known disease process. That leaves open the ...

Re: Elavil and sleep
I wanted to follow up my initial post because I don't want to scare anyone else off of Elavil. I'm no longer having a pattern of bad sleep after Elavil. I've had several nights of fine sleep after taking it, and also one bad night after not taking it. I still wonder if it might be bad for my sleep ...
