Hi there now I believe that the more something is irritated or inflamed the more we will fell the pain, so we become protective, and change our habits eg avoid sitting on hard surfaces, then we get caught out when we become complacent.

I wish to say that my chronic prostatitis / chronic pelvic pain syndrome or PN or how you wish to label it occurred by trauma in my case, so there was no mystery on how my condition occurred, I still believe a very good therapist can give relief with the aid of supplements as well. I know that Pudendal Neuralgia is a grey area, I do believe the nerve is irritated somehow, But I am a firm believer that GOOD physical therapy and natural anti inflammatory supplements will go a long way, the problem is the lack of very good physical therapists. There is also a place for surgery ...

So which test is more diagnostic, and the most accurate, the EMG or the PNMLT? Does it depend on how good or experienced the doctor is, or or can the neurologist stuff it up, or is it best to have both tests ??

I have heard that a few people are on that dosage, the problem is the other drugs, it depends on the amount of pain your in, and it is something that you should discuss with your doctor to be safe. Hi there I also take neurontin 800mg 3 times a day. Didn't like the Cymbalta [different people different effects]. So did the EMG show anything ?

I thought neuralgia was different to entrapment, I thought that the pudendal nerve was inflamed or something, and entrapment was due to scar tissue trapping the nerve ???

Yes I have tried blocks and prolo therapy to my lumbosacral nerve roots etc. My SIJ problem come on after the bad physio treatment, HE destabilised my pelvis

No you wrong about the jarring of the lower spine being my problem nothing showed up on x-ray or ct etc, my lower back pain is not there now but pain in my genitals is main problem.
