Re: CP/CPPS linked to Anxiety Disorder
This is not surprising. Also keep in mind that according to psychiatric journals the average age at diagnosis for (most ) anxiety disorders is about 33. (This is in the US). Of course, many arent diagnosed until their late 30s -40s so (depending on the quality and quantity of care where this article ...

Lethal Infections Raise Concern Over Prostate Biopsies
From bloomberg news. ... After 800,000 biopsies (every year over 25-30 years in the USA alone) we come up with this?? All of the sudden .. .. (more vociferous bacteria in the backside in the last 5 years?) Re assessing now instead of in 1985?. Oh well ... the usual fun in the prostate- CPPS world ...

Re: Any Members with this symptom?
a big factor in this. Absolutely correct! About 5 years ago I hurt my back bad, and a PT had me squeeze a ball between my legs. I heard a "snap", and she said it was some joint in my pelvis moving. I was in pain for about 2 weeks, but that was during a time period when I was controlling

Re: Self Trigger Point Release work (Manick's Case)
So I just had a nerve block done today, and I felt almost completely pain free the entire day. No major hunger pains, no bloating/gas, no pain after bowel movements, it was great. I hope it lasts for as long as the doctor says it will last for, which he claimed (if it worked) would be 6-8 weeks. I ...

Works for the majority, and the more intelligent and committed patients do better, so you could be odds-on to succeed.
I haven't read your full story, and indeed, for 20 years impotency may be a bit of another animal. But after reading enough stories of careers ruined with pain, $2000 chairs ...

Re: Prostatitissurgery.com, Arnon Krongrad, Christopher Eden
Odd, from onset Aug 2011, to theoretically operation treatment (and much better??) Oct 2011, to the April 2012 result. I've (we've) read of years of people on opiates, neurontin, trips to China etc for years. Surgery less than 2 mo from onset... and no letup from the ultra excitable cell phone ...

Was Krongrad (or one of a few others in the country/world) that does this the coach's doctor? Sorry I can't remember reading from the article other than treatment or possible prostatectomy.

Re: Prostatitissurgery.com, Arnon Krongrad, Christopher Eden
Is Prostate removal anywhere near a mainline treatment for a University coach or anyone like this? Outside a few Dr's you rarely hear of it. Nearly everyone here (with prostatitis diagnosis) goes thru a year or two of sitz baths and antibiotics at least. He must have something sure show up on ...

working out too hard , and an increased fluid intake. I recall buying all new softer underpants that summer to try and help. It just got much worse here in 2012.

Hi,
I'm new to this site. I'm from Cincinnati as well and looking for a physical therapist. Currently I am uninsured but able to receive free medical treatment only through the Barret Center at UC hospital. I am scheduled to see a Urologist in October but don't know if he will be a believer in the ...

.....I'm one of the few people on planet Earth apparently that has had a 100% successful back surgery. I've been pain free in my lower lumbar area for 4 years now. I'm even in the gym lifting and ********squatting heavy weights! Wow!

Re: Looking for a urologist in Cincinnati
I wouldn't waste much time with urologists once you have been cleared of cancer, etc. Don't know what your profile is but if you and your brother are big bicyclists/ exercise fans it would pay to read a bit on this site. Dr Shoskes mentioned above seems to be more clued in than most urologists.
