Re: Could this really be caused by muscle tension?
I am just about convinced that this is a muscular issue, but my case seems quite different to most everyone on here. I have no pain anywhere. I have discomfort that varies from annoying to extreme. It's felt in the penis. The discomfort feels like it's telling my brain to urinate even when my ...

Re: Infection can set off CPPS
This is EXACTLY what happened to me (E.Coli and all). Good find, webslave.
Me too. As unpleasant as it was, treating the infection was the easy part; finding out what was at the root of my CPPS symptoms and getting appropriate treatment was a bit more tricky!
I have to say that I don't think ...

Re: 10 months in and counting
,he has helped many people i know this and speak to some of them, yes hes not very organised and not as good as Tim . !
Th point isn't that he is not as good Tim - That wouldn't be a problem if he could still reliably locate and release trigger points. The point is that he is completely untrained ...

Re: 10 months in and counting
He told me he used the gay sites.
I think this was his way of signalling his sexuality to you, flump. I would not be surprised if Taylor is homosexual, and if he is using this job as a way of satisfying his proclivities.
I honestly don't think this is the case Mark. As I posted above, in all of ...

Re: 10 months in and counting
I myself have seen Bill Taylor for almost a yr and I would not recommend him under ANY circumstances. I had never seen a pelvic floor PT until I saw Bill so I didn't know what was a right way to treat someone with this condition but after seeing Rhonda Katarinos in Chicago for over a yr and ...

Re: Flu Shot-worsening symptoms- possibly life long
What I am experiencing is very traumatic. If it took you 6 or 7 years to get to a certain point of recovery and then it was basically all gone and symptoms were much worse, it would be difficult to handle for anyone. It is more than starting over because symptoms are worse than when this is started ...

Highly recommend you get a Theracane and start doing external triggerpoint work - especially the abs. The importance of external work has been the biggest thing I took away from the Anderson/Wise clinic I went to in December. Doing thorough external work everynight has made a very significant ...

I'll have to add this to my own regime. Thanks for sorting out my bullet points by the way - I still haven't worked out how to do it!webslave wrote:I would add the supplement MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE to Alprost's excellent post above.

Re: Flu Shot-worsening symptoms- possibly life long
Regardless of how bad your symptoms are now they ARE treatable, and you can recover. The bottom line is that lots of people have flare-ups exactly as you describe in response to numerous different triggers - there is nothing remarkable or unusual about what you are describing, although I know from ...

Re: Flu Shot-worsening symptoms- possibly life long
Had suspected swine-flu around October last year. My symptoms, which had improved massively, got a lot worse during this bout of flu and took a week or so to completely settle down afterwards. The serotonin circuits in your brain are linked to both temperature regulation and pain, and serotonin ...

Also a question for you, those who do internal massage: you hit a rough spot, one that hurts, you massage it gently, you know that most of the pain is coming from there, and then... suddenly this muscles relaxes after few minutes of massage... when it does, something happens at the same time... it ...

Re: Best Treatment for "golf ball in the butt" pain?
I will take both sets of advice. Thanks both you guys!
I would also look at how effective your self treatmemt of trigger points is - how confident are you that you have 'got' them all? If you are missing any key trigger points, this is also a very likely reason why you are experiencing ongoing ...
