Yes absolutely, penises will retract when exercising. It's always happened to me. Stress/anxiety causes it. Cold causes it.
I don't think it's too controversial. The classic "George getting out of the pool" episode on Seinfeld.

Re: Perineum muscles picture/question.
I made this post a long time ago, just found it here, still would like to know what others think.
Where the transverse perineals and sphincter ani meet in the picture, is called the perineal body ... mine is rock hard it feels like a small knuckle (IS THIS NORMAL?), and where it goes up into the ...

Who else has body wide stiffness/muscle pain?
My CPPS symptoms have always just seemed like muscle spasm/tightness, very little shooting nerve pain like symptoms. I can control my symptoms but I have never been able to completely rid myself of CPPS because it's not just the pelvic area, my entire body is tight and filled to the brim with ...

Re: How I'm beating this.
I've been a member here a long time, and check in very rarely. When I originally came, I complained of "hard flaccid" symptoms (that name had not been invented yet), another guy backed me up, but the master of the forum (who I in general respect/think is a good guy) said that is not a symptom of ...

Re: Mindbody Healing
Isn't imagining yourself next to the cliff still "thinking" about the emotion, and the same thing as re-experiencing a past traumatic experience to feel the emotion you had at the time? I mean it's pretty hard to feel a fear of heights if you don't imagine the scenario presenting the feeling.

Re: Mindbody Healing
Hi Ezer,
So when doing the exercise, you say "feel the emotion", does that mean I am supposed to relive the experience that makes me feel the emotion over in my brain? Without doing so, or after I try to do so, the emotion quickly fades and I am left thinking about nothing like when meditating ...

Re: Neue01's Case
Neue01, I agree scar tissue and adhesions are an important part of all this, and just general muscle tightness aside from trigger points that refer pain. I also notice the tissue quality around the tailbone externally is real murky, internally that area was a big culprit in my problems.

Great stretch - Hip Flexion and External Rotation
This is the best stretch I can find for this area, great how you can hit all areas by rotating like in the video.
This guys got lots of other good videos too.

Re: Anti-Inflammatory Supplements
Just to second what painman said about food allergies/intolerances and inflammation. Before I stopped ingesting gluten my muscles throughout my entire body felt really tight, I had horrible workout recovery from that, and trigger points seemed to come much easier and were harder to eradicate.

Perineum muscles picture/question.
Hi,
I have a question about this picture below.
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/d/d7/Bulbospongiosus-Male.png
In it you see the "sphincter ani ext." muscle entering the "bulbocavernosus" muscle, and it goes far up into it, my question is should you be able to feel the sphincter ...

Re: How Helpful is the Wise-Anderson Wand?
I don't understand why they don't just sell this PR set on the internet. I haven't attended the clinic but would think this could be taught without the doctor being in the room with you if it includes lectures on how to do paradoxical relaxation. And if one only had to drop $199 instead of $5000 to ...

Re: Penis Problems
I started a thread on here years ago about these symptoms to somewhat the same answer, which caused me to delay (FOR A LONG PERIOD) the only treatment that has worked (internal/external TP massage/heat/stretching) these symptoms can definitely be caused by TP's, and yes also anxiety, for me and many ...
