Follow Up
I can't believe it's been a year since I've posted, so I wanted to give an update( for those of you that want my complete story, check under success stories). As you can imagine since it's been so long since posting I'm doing great, though I hesitate to say "cured" (afraid I may jinx it). I still ...

Benzodiazepams
I don't doubt your symptoms but MILLIONS have been treated by benzos without these difficulties especially at low doses. Yes clonazepam is a very potent benzo but .5mg is the lowest dose form( other strengths include 1 and 2mg). There is no exact conversion but this would be about the same as 2.5 to ...

Unusual
.5mg of clonazepam is an extremely low dose. Though possible to have withdrawal at that dose, that would be exceedingly rare. What other meds were you on? How about alcohol use? The benzodiazepines are very safe drugs and have a variety of therepeutic uses. All drugs have risk benefit profiles in ...

Your right Mark, mysterious is the word. For every man that states A + B= remision, there's another that swears A + B = relapse. Thank goodness we're finally seeing controlled studies and are getting some answers. It's to convenient to assume a causal connection based on a temporal relationship. I ...

F/U
During a previous remision from this disease abou 2 years ago, I had a mild flare up associated with a sensitive tooth. Dental x-rays were negative. Finally the pain became enough of a distraction that I had a root canal. The dentist was surprised that the tooth was infected since the x-rays were ...

Not the toothpaste
It's not the toothpaste, but it could be brushing the teeth. Whenever we brush bacteria are released into the bloodstream. Studies have shown in those with gingivitis that this can be significant and may contribute to heart disease and other medical conditions. Any areas of inflamation can be ...

9 weeks
Nine weeks since starting regimen, 4 weeks off antibiotics. 98% improved. Main problem now is GI upset secondary to vitamins. Have cut dosages. Hope this doesn't cause a relapse, but I'll monitor very closely.

8 weeks
97% improved. Looking for a complete remision. Cycled 45 miles in the last 4 days at near race pace! Feeling great but the vitamins are causing some GI upset. Considering training for another triathlon which I've done before but haven't dreamed of since the CP symptoms. Today marks 8 weeks since the ...

Seat
I use a racing saddle with a slit in the middle to help avoid perineal pressure. It does have a horn however, but so far so good.

No problem today after bike ride yesterday! I can't believe it. Cycling in the past was always the biggest irritant. I feel myself getting stronger and healthier almost every day. 95%+ improved.
